After the grand celebration, the estate finally quieted down. The sounds of laughter and music faded into the background.

Lily retreated to her room, her heart still fluttering from the night's events. The dress she had worn, now slightly crumpled, was tossed onto her bed, and she slipped into a cozy robe, feeling the soft fabric against her skin.

She made her way to the bathroom, where the warm glow of candlelight greeted her. The large bathtub was filled with bubbles, the scent of lavender wafting through the air. Lily sighed contentedly as she sank into the warm water, letting the stress of the evening melt away. She closed her eyes, the warmth enveloping her like a comforting embrace, and her mind drifted back to all the moments from the night. The laughter, the toasts, the way Adrian had looked at her with so much love.

Once she finished her bath, she felt refreshed and serene. Wrapping herself in a fluffy towel, she padded back to her bedroom. Just as she opened the door, she froze, her heart racing at the sight before her.

Her room was transformed. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow. A beautiful bouquet of her favorite flower, a mix of pink roses and peonies sat on her bedside table. In the center of the room, a stunning cake stood, adorned with a "Happy Birthday" sign and delicate frosting, waiting just for her.

"Surprise, baby," Adrian said softly, stepping out from the shadows.

Lily's breath caught as she turned to see him, still dressed in his black suit but with his tie loosened and the top button of his shirt undone. His dark hair was slightly tousled, giving him a relaxed yet effortlessly handsome look.

"Adrian..." Her voice was barely a whisper, her eyes sparkling with unshed tears. "You did all this for me?"

He stepped closer, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Of course. I wanted your special day to end as perfectly as it started."

Her gaze flicked around the room, taking in every detail. The soft glow of the lights, the flowers, the cake. It was like something out of a dream. Overwhelmed, she felt tears prickling at the corners of her eyes.

"This is incredible," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

Adrian's smile softened. "You deserve it, baby."

Unable to hold back any longer, Lily threw her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. The warmth of his embrace, the steady beat of his heart, was enough to make the tears spill over.

"I'm so happy," she sobbed, her voice muffled against his shirt. "Thank you, Adrian."

Adrian's chest tightened as he held her, his large hands gently stroking her back. "Baby, don't cry," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.

She pulled back just enough to look up at him, her cheeks flushed and her eyes glistening. "I can't help it. You always make me feel so special."

He cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away her tears. "That's because you are special, Lily."

She sniffled, a soft laugh escaping her lips.

As she wiped her eyes, Adrian led her to the bed, where he handed her a small, elegantly wrapped box. "I have one more surprise for you."

Lily's curiosity piqued as Adrian took her hand and led her to sit on the edge of her bed. "What is it?" she asked, excitement bubbling in her chest.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, elegantly wrapped box. "Open it."

Lily's eyes lit up with curiosity as she carefully opened the box, revealing a delicate silver bracelet adorned with tiny charms: a heart, a star, and a small rose.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, her fingers tracing over the intricate details.

"I wanted you to have something to remember today by," Adrian said, fastening the bracelet around her wrist. "Every time you look at it, I want you to remember how much you're loved."

She stared at the bracelet, her heart swelling with emotion. "I'll cherish it forever," she said, her voice trembling.

As she looked up at him, something shifted in the air between them. The warmth in his gaze deepened, and he took a step closer, their faces mere inches apart.

"Lily," he began, his voice low and sincere, "you mean the world to me. I've loved you since the moment I met you."

Her heart raced at his confession, and she could feel the heat rising in her cheeks. "I love you too, Adrian."

In that moment, time seemed to stand still. Adrian's hand reached up to cup her face gently, his thumb brushing against her cheek. "You're officially an adult now, and I want to celebrate that. truly celebrate it."

Lily's breath caught in her throat as she realized what he meant. The moment felt electric, charged with anticipation. She could hardly believe this was happening. it felt like a dream.

Adrian leaned in, his lips capturing hers in a soft, tentative kiss. It was gentle at first, as if he were testing the waters, but it quickly deepened as Lily responded, her heart racing. A satisfied noises came out of Adrian's mouth as he deepened the kiss. "Hmm..baby..". The world outside faded away, and all that mattered was this moment. The two of them, finally together in a way they had both longed for.

When they finally pulled away, both breathless, Adrian rested his forehead against hers, his dark eyes searching hers. "Happy birthday, my princess."

Lily couldn't stop smiling, her heart full. "Best birthday ever," she whispered, feeling a warmth radiate through her.

As they sat together, wrapped in the warmth of the moment, Lily knew this was just the beginning of a new chapter in her life. one filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures alongside Adrian. The future seemed brighter than ever, and she couldn't wait to see where their journey would take them next.
