Jungkook, feeling the weight of the situation and the tension in the air, quietly approached the closet. He began collecting the clothes Nam had scattered about, carefully folding them and tucking them into the suitcase.

While he understood Nam’s perspective, he couldn’t shake the feeling of exclusion; he wasn't just an idol, but also a devoted husband and a son-in-law, longing to be a part of the family dynamic.

Once he finished, he turned to find Nam, who was busy tying his shoelaces, sitting cross-legged on the mini sofa, an image of focused determination.

"Can I come to see you? I’m going to miss you." Jungkook managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper. The lump in his throat threatened to give way to tears, but he swallowed hard, exerting the self-control he had cultivated for years during their times apart.

"Sure, if you have time for me,"

Namjoon replied, the words tumbling out almost absentmindedly, tinged with annoyance. It was then that Jungkook felt a sharp pang in his throat, realizing that beneath Nam’s bravado was frustration regarding Jungkook’s hectic schedule.

Deep down, he felt a flicker of anger directed at Nam, yet he tried desperately to push it aside, attempting to offer support and understanding despite the toll their careers were taking on their relationship.

Suddenly, Jungkook’s intuition kicked in. Something was amiss, a hidden undercurrent of discomfort swirling beneath the surface. Had he inadvertently struck a nerve with his husband?

He sensed that Nam was grappling with feelings he had not fully articulated, making Jungkook ponder if he had indeed cut too close to the quick with his comments. Namjoon walked toward him to say goodbye, his heart heavy with unspoken words.

He gently cupped Jungkook's face in his hands, their eyes locking for a moment that felt both eternal and fleeting. He glanced down at Jungkook's lips, that inviting smile that often brightened Namjoon's day, but instead chose to place a soft kiss on his forehead, a gesture filled with warmth and affection.

"Jungkook! I'm going to miss you too. It's just four days, though. Take care of yourself, okay? Try not to stress out too much about everything. I know things can get overwhelming, but I'll be back before you know it."

Jungkook was taking the world by storm; his rise to fame had been meteoric, and with it, Namjoon couldn’t help but feel a pang of anxiety. He wished Jungkook would remember that he had a husband patiently waiting for him beneath the glamour and the flashing lights.

The thought of Jungkook being led astray by one of the hottest idols in the industry terrified him. Losing Jungkook again wasn't an option he was willing to entertain.

With a firm grip on his suitcase and his phone, Namjoon made his way towards the door, feeling the weight of the moment.

"Namjoon! Does the kissing scene bother you?" Jungkook's voice suddenly broke through his thoughts, a direct hit at the heart of his unease. It was as if Jungkook had instinctively sensed the turmoil that had been brewing in Namjoon’s mind.

Jungkook’s apprehension was justified; the way Namjoon paused mid-step and tightened his grip on the doorknob seemed to confirm Jungkook's suspicions. It was true; Nam had always been stubborn when it came to revealing his inner feelings. The wall he built around his heart was both a fortress and a prison.

"Namjoon. Look at me." Jungkook's voice was firm but caring, a plea for honesty.

"Namjoon, I'm asking you to look at me." The insistence in his tone forced Namjoon to relent, and he turned around to face his partner.
