"Mia wake up" The brunette said and I groaned before opening my eyes "What?" I said sitting up when I noticed Clarke here too I knew it was important "Octavia is missing. You an-" Clarke started but I didn't let her finish. I had started to care for the girl. "Why didn't you say that first?" I asked immediately getting up and getting dressed "Do you have your weapons or do you need us to get you something?" Clarke asked "Nope" I said opening my duffel bag and taking out the sword, and the knifes and putting them each on their place "Let's go" "Alright" Bell said and all three of us walked out. *Octavia's Search Party* "Bell. Is that Octavia's?" I asked "What is it?" Bell asked walking up to me "Right there. You see it? Is that Octavia's?" Finn asked "Rope" Bell ordered and one of his dogs gave him one " What are you doing?" Finn asked Bell "We need the rope to get back up. Flashlight. It's hers. I'm going all the way down. Someone else was here" "The prints are going that way" Finn said "He was carrying her" I added "If they took her, she's alive. Like when they took me" Jasper said in a way too hopeful tone Finn and I were following the trace when I suddenly stopped but Finn was too focused on the trace that was gonna keep going so I pulled him back "What the- I'm pretty sure this means keep out." Finn said and some delinquents decided to go back to camp letting their fear take over "Go back if you want. My sister, my responsibility" Bell said. I admire his courage. "I'd walk into hell to find her" Jasper said "We just did" I said before following behind them with Finn next to me *Twenty minutes later* "I got nothing" Finn whined "We lost the trail" I said frustrated "Keep looking" Bell said. Right cause looking for Octavia without a trail is gonna work. "Wandering around aimlessly isn't the way to find your sister. We should backtrack-" Finn said "I'm not going back" Bell interrupted "Hey, where's John?" A girl asked and we all turned to look for him "Spread out. He couldn't have gotten that far" Bell said. Relax genius. Then out of nowhere Jones dropped to the ground from a tree, his throat slit "They use the trees" Finn said "We shouldn't have crossed the boundary" A boy said "Now can we go back?" The same girl asked "Right there" Jasper pointed at the two grounders, one on each side of the group, observing us "Another one" The girl pointed at the other two in front of us also observing us "We should run" Finn said and we all ran but I had an idea. "Keep running" I said before taking off bolting "What the hell Mia?" Finn yelled but I ignored him. It needs to be done. I located my first victim and took him by surprise and put my sword through the grounder's chest. Then I saw the other grounder not too far away. Second victim. Having lost the element of surprise I decided to take my chance. Our swords clashed and he was really strong but I'm faster, I bit his wrist to distract him and stabbed him with my hidden knife. I turned to look for the last two grounders but I couldn't seem to locate them, though I could perfectly hear and see Bell, Jasper, Finn and the two other girls running not looking back so I followed. There's another boy missing. Then everyone stopped looking at a dead guy on a trap "What the hell Mia?" Finn yelled "You can't run off like that? You could have died" Bell said a bit softer but with frustration laced in his voice "I know okay. But I didn't and I got two of them." "Wait you killed them?" Jasper asked and I nodded "Crazy cool" a girl said and I gave her a small smile while Bell rolled his eyes "Where's the other girl?" I asked "Dead. Speared" Finn said and I nodded "Guys there's more" Jasper said pointing at all the grounders surrounding us. Six grounders. I can do it maybe. "Just stay here" I say taking out the sword. "Hell no. You're not going to fight all of them" Finn said just as Bell placed a hand on my arm stopping me "Well then what do you suppose I do? I'm not gonna stand here and let us be killed by some monkeys" "I-" Finn started but was abruptly interrupted by a loud horn. The hell? "What the hell was that?" The girl asked "What does it mean?" Jasper asked "Acid fog" Finn said "We have to run" The girl said "We don't have that much time" I said just as Finn took out a parachute and we all got under it and covered the corners so the fog wouldn't get in. Around ten minutes passed and we were all uncomfortable. I was between Finn and Bell with zero personal space and I was getting more sleepy by the second even though I knew I needed to keep my head in the game if we find any other grounders on our way to get O. "You good?" Bell asked noticing my eyes closing "I just want to sleep" I whined and placed my head on his shoulder and Bell just chuckled though I could feel Finn staring so hard he might be making a hole in my head. Five minutes passed and I was sick of waiting, my patience drained "How long are we supposed to wait?" I asked "Will this even work?" The girl asked "We'll find out" Finn said and I rolled my eyes "No, we won't" Bell said moving the tarp, I expected dying in some weird painful way but there was nothing "There's no fog" "Maybe it was a false alarm" Finn said "They're coming back" Jasper said scared "He's alone" I said "Now can we run?" The girl asked. Nope "He doesn't see us. I'm going after him" Bell said "And what? Kill him?" Finn asked "No. Catch him. Make him tell me where Octavia is, Then kill him" Bell said. He wouldn't be able to go through with it. "How do we know he's not leading us to another trap?" Jasper asked "We're about to find out" I said before catching up to Bell. We followed the grounder down to a cave, we waited a couple seconds before going in and we did we... "Bellamy?" "Octavia?" While the siblings hugged I took the key from the grounder's unconscious body. Something is off "Here" I said giving the keys to Bell so he could unchain Octavia while Finn and I crouched down next to the grounder to take a good look at him. I could hear the siblings discussing whether the grounder got to live or not but I didn't care I still felt that something was wrong, we were never this lucky. "They started this. Finn. Nia. Move" Bell ordered us but I didn't move. Finn didn't move either instead he showed me a horn "Foghorn" Finn explained and I realized he was the one to blow the horn so the grounders would think the fog was coming and let us live. I let myself get distracted. The grounder stabbed Finn and threw me into a wall. My ribs hurt like hell. I was angry to say the least but also tired and like Commander Shumway use to say when I'm antry I end up either murdering them or the kill me easily. The grounder had a spear close to Bell's face, too close. "Stop! That's my brother!" Octavia said and I got the grounder of of Bell but now his attention was all on me. I really didn't think this through did I? This should be an easy fight but we're in an enclosed unknown space and my friends are here, none of the odds are to my favor. I punched him in the face, he punched me in the ribs twice, we ended in the floor with him chocking me but I couldn't reach the knife, He had already made slashes in my face and ribs since we both had medium knifes but we both lost them in the fight and I really would love die to have one at the moment. Then I found a rock, it wasn't much but with enough strength it would do the job. I hit him in the head with the rock as hard as I could and he fell to the ground his body limp next to me. Finally. "Mia. Shit. Are you okay?" Octavia asked worriedly "Just chilling. Help me up?" I asked and Octavia immediately helped me up, I groaned internally at the pain. It didn't matter this was my usual on the Ark it still hurt plus the grounders have like three times the strength that the people I fought had. "Finn" I said crouching down in front of him "Should I take out the knife?" Jasper asked "No. If you do he'll bleed out" "I'll carry him back to camp, Jasper help Octavia walk, and Monroe go with Mia and make sure she's okay" "I'm fine" I said but literally every single person in the room rolled their eyes at me "That's what you always say" I heard Bellamy say under his breath though I decided not to comment it. *At camp* "Clarke! Where's Clarke? Get Clarke now" Jasper yelled through camp as we all walked in "Hey. I'm here. What's up?" Clarke asked with my sister next to her. "Finn. Finn? Oh, my god. Oh, oh, my god" Clarke said and Raven and Emma gasped. She shouldn't see this "He's alive" Clarke said after she checked his pulse. Doesn't look like it "Nat wouldn't let me take the knife out" Jasper said "That was a good call. Get him in the dropship now. Go!" Clarke said "Clarke, can you save him?" Emma asked her "No. Not me. I need my mother. I need to talk to her" Clarke said "There's still no radio" Raven said and I noticed the look on Clarke's face "Raven. Go fix it! Go" I ordered and she ran to the dropship "Sis" Emma said and I hugged her "He's going to be fine Emma" "What if he isn't?" Emma asked with tears in her eyes "He will be okay I promise" I said not knowing how to answer her question "Let's go inside Em. A storm is coming"
