Mall Outing with Sam's Family and the Brocks

It was a lively Saturday morning when Colby and Malia decided to join Sam and Katrina for a mall outing with all their kids. It was a big family affair—Colby and Malia brought along Carter, Liam, Caitlyn, and Colleen, while Sam and Katrina brought Sofia and Sarah. The day was destined to be chaotic, but also fun.

Getting Ready

The morning was a whirlwind.
• Carter was squirmy and nibbling on his bottle as Malia tried to change his clothes. "Hold still, buddy," she said, laughing as he tried to roll away. Once dressed, Carter immediately grabbed a toy car to bring with him.
• Liam, stubborn as ever, refused to wear his shoes. Colby finally bribed him with a promise of a toy if he behaved.
• The girls, Caitlyn and Colleen, were angelic and ready to go early, each carrying small purses with their favorite trinkets.
• Over at Sam and Katrina's, Sofia was helping Sarah pick out a headband while Sam packed snacks. "We're ready to roll!" he texted Colby.

After a chaotic half-hour, the families loaded up into their vans and headed to the mall.

Arriving at the Mall

The two families met in the parking lot, unloading kids, strollers, and bags.
• Carter's stroller was fully stocked with his favorite dinosaur blanket, a bottle of milk, and a few snacks to keep him entertained.
• Liam insisted on walking but held onto Colby's pant leg as they entered.
• Sofia, being the oldest, took charge of Sarah, keeping her close as they entered the bustling mall.

Exploring the Mall

The group made their way through the mall, stopping at various stores.
1. Toy Store:
The kids' favorite stop was the massive toy store.
• Carter was immediately drawn to a display of colorful blocks and stuffed dinosaurs, nibbling on one of the tags.
• Liam found a remote-control car and begged Colby to buy it.
• Caitlyn and Colleen picked out matching dolls, while Sarah clutched a sparkly unicorn plushie.
Sam and Colby joked about how their wallets were already feeling the strain, but they couldn't resist the kids' excitement.
2. Clothing Store:
Malia and Katrina browsed for clothes for the kids while the dads kept an eye on the little ones.
• Carter started getting squirmy in his stroller, so Colby let him out to stretch. He ran straight to a rack of baby pajamas with dinosaurs on them, clutching one as if to say, "This is mine."
• Liam, seeing Carter's enthusiasm, grabbed a similar pajama set and announced, "Me too!"
• Sofia helped Sarah pick out a pink dress, while Caitlyn and Colleen admired sparkly shoes.
3. Food Court:
The group stopped for a quick snack.
• Carter had his bottle of milk and some crackers Malia had packed.
• Liam nibbled on chicken nuggets but kept trying to sneak fries from Colby's tray.
• The girls shared a plate of pasta, while Sofia helped Sarah with her juice box.

Afternoon Adventures

As the day went on, Carter started to get tired and fussy. He refused to sit in his stroller, instead wanting Colby to carry him.

"He's got you wrapped around his finger," Sam teased as Colby hoisted Carter onto his hip.

Meanwhile, Liam began to get stubborn, dragging his feet and whining about wanting ice cream. Katrina came to the rescue, distracting him with a lollipop.

The girls, however, were a dream. Sofia kept Sarah entertained, while Caitlyn and Colleen walked hand-in-hand, looking at the window displays.

Heading Home

By late afternoon, the group was ready to head home.
• Carter fell asleep in Colby's arms, his bottle still clutched tightly.
• Liam dozed off in the stroller, his new toy car balanced on his lap.
• The girls were still full of energy, chatting about their favorite parts of the day.

As they loaded back into the vans, Sam turned to Colby and joked, "We survived! Let's call this a win."

Colby laughed. "Barely. But the kids had fun, so it's worth it."

The video for their family channel later showed highlights of the day, from Carter excitedly picking out toys to Liam stubbornly refusing to share his fries. It was a day of chaos, laughter, and memories for both families.
