Chezney's Pov
I was taken back recognizing the voice regardless of it being far too long since I've heard it. The figure wasn't tall meaning it couldn't be Catelyn or Renly coming to pay me a late visit. "Seven hells. Tyrion." Covering my mouth with my hands I began lightly crying seeing him standing before me.
The dwarf standing before me was undoubtedly the youngest son of Tywin Lannister. Tyrion had scars across his face and his hair was a tousled mess of blonde curls.
He certainly looked like hell but I just cared to know how in the Seven Kingdoms to get to this camp from King's Landing.
"Tyrion, how are you here right now?" I questioned slowly walking towards the dwarf.
He paused before answering me. "Cersei wanted me dead. My father was informed about our letters. I fled Kings Landing for my life."
"Why did she want you dead this time. Is this still about what happened to your mother?"
He shook his head no running a hand down his face. "Joffrey was poisoned. She thinks it was me and Sansa who planned it. But I had nothing to do with it."
"Joffrey's dead then?" Tyrion gave me a simple head nod yes. "Wait why would anyone else besides Robb want him dead?"
"Cersei was informed by our father that he was to be wed off to Maragery Tyrell."
Giving him a confused look I wasn't following what the dwarf was telling me now. "Maragery is wed to Renly. She can't marry unless - someone has informed the other lords that Renly is gay and has no desire for her to provide him with heirs."
"It's quite possible. Many people in the city have spies everywhere including my father." Tyrion dropped his gaze to his boots and I could see guilt crossing his entire face.
I take a few more steps closer to him, keeping my voice low in case someone could be listening outside the tent. "What aren't you telling me?"
"I - I um - I shot him and I killed him, Chezney." Tyrion began crying when I slid down onto my knees wrapping my arms around him in a tight embrace just letting him sob into my chest. "I killed my father with a crossbow - he was going to have me executed for a crime I didn't commit."
Slowly moving my body away from his, my hands fell onto his shoulders. "How did you even escape from there? Let alone travel all this way to find me out here in Renly Baratheon's camp."
"I had some help from a friend."
I knitted my brows with a chuckle. "You have a friend?"
"A paid friendship but yes he's a friend nonetheless." He moved his head to the side before we heard two guards that were walking past get knocked down to the ground by someone which caused me to shove Tyrion behind me in some type of defense.
"Are you quite sure no one noticed you?"
Tyrion replied. "Yes, my lady."
Hearing him address me as his lady made my stomach fill with butterflies but I had to push those emotions away. The tent flap got thrown opened and I caught a glimpse of a man with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes with a sword attached to his side.
"Chezney, may I introduce my friend Ser Bronn of the Blackwater." Tyrion explained turning around and taking my hand in his seeing that my body was shaking out of fear. "It's alright. He won't hurt you."
Bronn trailed his eyes up and down my form. "So this is the girl you want to bed?"
"Um." I blushed, tucking some hair behind my ear.
