Haelesa's povMoving my feather pen across the paper I sat it down once I had finished what I wanted to say back to my husband Robb. Violet was currently standing off to the side waiting for me to hand over my newest letter. Turning in my chair I extended my arm out to her with the folded letter in my hand. "Deliver this like you have done the other ones."
"May I read, Haelesa. Like you have let me on the other ones." She questioned me keeping the paper folded over waiting for me to give her the approval.
"Go ahead. Just don't read it too loud and remember to not say a word to anyone else outside of this chamber."
Violet cleared her throat unfolding the letter in her hands, reading quietly. "Dear Chez, I must inform you that you need to get this message to Robb. For I have heard rumors of Lord Walder planning to send an army of men to Cersei to help wipe out your camp. You must beat them before they arrive otherwise you shall be wiped out. Wait, what does this mean? The mouth flows into the Blackwater Rush and splits into two Duskendale and Maidenpool."
"Coordinates for my family. This war is far from over and I refuse to see anyone but my husband get to have control of the North again."
She closed the letter back before we heard someone knocked on the chamber door causing the two of us to give confused expressions because we weren't expecting any visitors at this very moment. "Lady Frey, his lordship is requesting to see you right away."
Violet hid the letter inside one of the boots that she wore. Picking up the ends of my dress I made my way down the hallway and through the corridors until I entered the great open hall of House Frey. Walder Frey was sitting on his chair in the center of the room and turned his head when he saw that it was my footsteps coming towards him. "You wished to see me, Lord Husband."
"Yes, little wife." Frey eyed me up and down slowly like an animal stalking its prey that it wishes to eat for dinner. I was dressed in a gown that was purely House Frey colors. I was disgusted by the blue and silver-grey colors on my body right now. I longed for the day when I could return to the Stark's grey and white. The gown was very low and nearly revealed my boob's and the gown was the tightest corset I think I've ever worn in my life. Walder extended his hand out for me and I reluctantly placed my hand in his.
"Why did you wish to see me - Lord Walder." I asked, getting caught off guard when he tugged me up onto his lap with his hands holding me there.
The elderly man scoffed up at me, leaning forward about to kiss me but we were interrupted by one of his guards coming into the room. "Be quiet, girl."
"My lord - uh forgive me. The kingslayer has arrived."
Pushing my hands against the older man's chest I forcefully climbed off of him, brushing my hands down my dress. Walking backwards away from Lord Frey I quickly turned my head hearing the large doors open and revealed Jaime Lannister. But he certainly wasn't the same Jaime that I had seen when I freed him from Robb's camp. "Jaime - Jaime!" I attempted to run down the steps and embrace him yet Walder managed to grab the back of my gown and held me in place near him and not the golden lion.
"Little Velaryon - uh Lord Frey you requested my family's help with gaining control of House Tully." Biting my lip I fought the urge to show any emotion at his words. I needed to inform my true husband if this was true. Shiting my gaze across the room I saw Violet watching the conversation where I secretly pointed my finger at the lion and she nodded and quickly disappeared.
Lord Frey heavily coughed into his arm. "The Tullys have mocked me for years and I am tired of it. I want you to help me take their home away from them."
"My lord Husband, that was not our arrangement when I chose to be your lady wife.-" I was cut off in my attempt to sound surprised at his words, even though I had heard the castle guards whispering about it which is why I must send my next letter in such haste.
Lord Walder turned his head, snapping at me. "Silence stupid woman!"
"Lord Walder, I will send my men alongside yours to the Riverlands." Jaime responded to him before the elderly man got up from his chair and made his way out of the room leaving me alone with him.
"Jaime - Jaime!" Bolting across the room holding the ends of my gown I raced to him. The golden lion extended his arms opened , catching me when I leaped up into his chest.
The knight of the Kingsguard gently sat me back down on my feet, pulling back but kept his hands on my waist. "Haelesa, what in the Seven hells are you doing here? You're not that old idiots wife - unless something happened to the young wolf."
"I didn't have another way to save him and our baby." Shaking my head I sniffed back some tears. "Walder was going to kill him until I sacrificed my life to save his and my daughters life."
His green eyes scanned over my face where he raised his left hand up, brushing hair out of my face. "I never should have left you at the war camp."
"You couldn't have known what was going to happen. If you stayed, Robb's men would have taken your head and - wait what happened to your hand?" Knitting my brows I reached down to take his right hand yet found the coldness of a golden metal hand in its place.
Jaime hung his head in slight defeat. "On my way back to Kings Landing I ran across a man who hated royals and he took my hand."
"The gods are cruel and uncaring." Muttering under my breath I rested my head against his own, praying that Violet got my letter sent out in time before my family was slaughtered by our enemies.
Robb's camp
Tyrion scanned over the letter before handing it over to the young wolf. "We'll have to send a Raven asking Lady Olenna to come to us. According to your wife's letter we need to stay as close to the ports of Kings Landing as possible."
"Why do we need to stay close to the city?" Chezney asked the man standing beside her.
Robb eyed the dwarf he was learning to trust on his every word since he had joined the cause of the great North. "Haelesa lived in Kings Landing for a time. Could these be coordinates somewhere?"
"You're right, young wolf. Duskendale and Maidenpool are the main ports of the city." Tyrion crossed the tent and laid out the war map on the table. He waved the pair over so he could show them the plan that was running through his head. He dragged his index finger between the lines that represented the two ports that entered the large city. "We could split up the army. Sending half of them through Duskendale and the rest will go through the other port."
Chezney scratched the top of her head. "I don't understand. Why don't we just attack them all at once through one of the ports if they both run through the Blackwater Rush?"
"It would end in more bloodshed than anything else. But if we split them up then we might get some element of surprise." Robb ran a hand over his mouth chucking up at the tent ceiling, not thinking of that plan before now. "Clever girl. I never realized that she was paying attention when I'd ramble on about war strategies."
"I told you they're clever together even when they are miles apart from each other. " Chezney weakly smiled in the direction of the youngest Lannister. House Stark and House Velaryon would likely win this war without being right beside their parents' side.
Chezney picked up the letter, turning it over to see someone else's handwriting on the back of the scroll. "Robb, did you see this? There's another message written here."
"Lions and Twins have set their sights on the fish house." Robb read it aloud taking a moment before he knew what the message was truly telling them. The Northern army was settled in and currently living in the castle of House Tully. "They're going to attack House Tully."
