Alicendria's chest tightened with grief and anger as she recalled the devastating events of the day. Rook's Rest had been a bloodbath, and the loss of life weighed heavy on her heart. As she rode her dragon through the air, the wind whipping through her hair, she steeled herself for the task that lay ahead.

The island of Dragonstone came into view, its dark silhouette growing larger as she got closer. Alicendria urged her dragon to fly faster, desperate to arrive home and face the questions and reactions that awaited her.

As the dragon touched down in the familiar courtyard of Dragonstone, Alicendria dismounted and looked around. The castle was eerily quiet, the aftermath of the news of the battle beginning to sink in.

She took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts, and made her way towards the great hall, steeling herself for what was to come.

As Alicendria entered the hall, she was met with a scene of confusion and shock. The queen and her small council were gathered around a table, their faces pale and tired. They looked up as she entered, and for a moment, the room was completely silent. Alicendria stood tall, her shoulders straight, bracing herself for the onslaught of questions.

"Clear the room. Lord Corlys, The queen, Lady Baela and I shall talk."

The council members hesitated for a moment, before obeying Alicendria's command. They filed out of the room, glancing between themselves, curiosity and concern etched on their faces.

Once the last council member had left, Alicendria turned to Corlys, Rhaenyra and Baela.
