Alicendria hurried through the halls of Dragonstone, her heart pounding with anticipation and nervousness. She reached the throne room, the guards standing at the entrance quickly stepping aside to let her in.

As she entered the room, Rhaenyra, Jace, and several other members of the council were engaged in conversation, their voices hushed and low. They looked up as they saw Alicendria approach, their faces expectant.

"My Queen," Alicendria curtisied

Rhaenyra looked up as Alicendria curtsied, her lips curving into a small smile. The council members paused their conversation, their eyes fixed on Alicendria.

"Alicendria," Rhaenyra said, her voice firm and steady.

"You have news?"

"I believe Halaena and her children had arrived earlier than me." She said

Rhaenyra's eyes widened subtly at Alicendria's words, a flicker of surprise registering on her face. The council members exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued.

"Halaena is here?" Rhaenyra repeated, her voice betraying a hint of relief. "And her children?"

"Rhaenyra.." Halaena burst inside the throne room, carrying Jaehara and held Jaeherys' hand.

The room fell silent as Halaena appeared, the young queen looking tired but determined. Her children clung to her sides, their faces filled with unease. Rhaenyra immediately got up from her seat, her eyes meeting Halaena's.

"Halaena," Rhaenyra said, her voice full of relief and concern.

"You made it."

The council members looked surprised and a little uncertain, their eyes darting between Rhaenyra and Halaena. They had not expected the young queen to escape and seek refuge with Rhaenyra so soon.

"We weren't expecting you so early," Rhaenyra continued, her voice softer now. "But I am glad you are here."

Halaena gave Rhaenyra a weary smile, her eyes betraying her exhaustion and worry. Her children clung to her even tighter, their young faces filled with fear and uncertainty. The reality of their situation was starting to sink in.
