The next morning, Ryan knocked on the door to the hidden room, a cheerful tone masking his sinister intentions. "Good morning, my friends! Time for breakfast!" He swung open the door, his smile faltering as he took in the empty room.

Ryan's eyes widened in shock. "What, how could they even escape from here? No windows, no doors...my gosh!" He frantically scanned the room, his gaze darting between the old sofa, rusty metal scraps, and vintage play games.

Ryan's search became more desperate, his breathing quickening as he rummaged through the cluttered space. Suddenly, a figure emerged from behind a cardboard box. Christopher sprang into action, tackling Ryan to the ground.

The two men clashed, punches flying as they rolled across the dusty floor. Ryan's eyes blazed with fury, but Christopher's determination to protect Stephanie and himself fueled his strength. The sound of crashing and grunting filled the air as they fought for dominance.

Ryan landed a solid punch to Christopher's jaw, but Christopher quickly recovered, pinning Ryan against the wall. "You're not taking us down without a fight," Christopher snarled, his eyes blazing with defiance.

Just as it seemed Christopher had the upper hand, Ryan managed to break free, sending Christopher stumbling backward. The two men faced off, their chests heaving with exhaustion, as they waited for the next move.

The fight raged on, with both men exchanging blows. Ryan's fist connected with Christopher's jaw, but Christopher refused to back down. With a fierce cry, he launched himself at Ryan, tackling him to the ground.

Stephanie watched in horror, her voice shrill with fear. "Christopher, Christopher! Look out! He's behind you! He's getting up!"

Christopher's eyes flicked toward Stephanie, and he saw Ryan stumbling to his feet. With a swift kick, Christopher sent Ryan crashing into a nearby table. The wooden legs splintered, sending the table toppling to the ground.

Ryan struggled to get up, but Christopher was relentless. He pinned Ryan to the ground, his hands closing around Ryan's throat. Ryan's eyes bulged, his face turning purple as Christopher's grip tightened.

With one final burst of strength, Christopher slammed Ryan's head into the ground, knocking him unconscious. The room fell silent, except for Stephanie's ragged breathing.

Christopher stood up, his chest heaving with exhaustion. He looked over at Stephanie, his eyes filled with relief. "It's over," he whispered. "We're getting out of here."

Stephanie nodded, and said "Thank you, Christopher," she whispered. "Thank you for saving me."

As they emerged from the secret room, Christopher locked the door behind them, trapping Ryan inside.Stephanie gazed back at the hidden space, a mix of relief and disgust on her face. "Let's get out of here," she whispered, her eyes locking onto Christopher's.

Christopher nodded, his expression grim. "We will. But first, we need to decide what to do with Ryan."

Stephanie's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

Christopher's smile was cold and calculated. "Let's play a little game. We need to confirm if Ryan still has connections with the outside world. If he does, we can use that to our advantage."

Stephanie's eyes widened. "You mean, we can use him to get evidence?"

Christopher nodded. "Exactly. We can wait here for a few days, give him food and water, and see if anyone comes looking for him. If they do, we'll have our evidence."

Stephanie's face set in determination. "Let's do it."

Christopher nodded, a plan already forming in his mind. "I'll take Ryan's car and head to my office. We'll start digging into Ryan's past, see if we can uncover any connections."

With a final glance at the secret room, Christopher and Stephanie made their way out of the house, ready to start their quest for justice.

As Christopher arrived at the office, he headed straight to the file room. He retrieved a stack of files and returned to his cabin, determined to uncover any evidence of Ryan's past misdeeds.

Christopher meticulously sifted through the files, scanning each page for any mention of smuggling or other illicit activities. However, after a thorough search, he came up empty-handed.

Undeterred, Christopher decided to obtain the documents that Ryan had hidden away. The only problem was that he had no idea where Ryan had stashed the files.

Christopher picked up the phone and dialed Stephanie's number. She answered on the first ring. "Hello, Chris. What's up?"

"I need your help, Stephiii," Christopher replied, his tone serious.

"What happened?" Stephanie asked, concern etched in her voice.

Christopher hesitated before responding. "I need those documents, but I don't know where Ryan has hidden them. We need to find them ASAP so we can get evidence."

Stephanie's voice was resolute. "Okay, I'll search the house. If we can't find them here, we'll have to think of another way to get them."

Christopher nodded, even though Stephanie couldn't see him. "Alright, Stephanie. I'll come soon. I'll call you later."

With that, Christopher hung up the phone, his mind already racing with possibilities.

Stephanie embarked on a meticulous search for the hidden files, leaving no stone unturned. She began in the bedroom, scouring every inch of the space. She opened the cupboard doors, searching through the shelves and examining the clothes hanging from the rods. She peered under the bed, her eyes scanning the dusty space for any sign of the files.

Next, she turned her attention to the bedside tables, pulling out the drawers and rummaging through the contents. She checked the desk, searching through the drawers and examining the surface for any hidden compartments. She even checked the chair and table legs, ensuring that nothing was hidden in plain sight.

Stephanie's search then moved to the bathroom, where she scoured the countertops, cabinets, and drawers. She checked the shower and bathtub, ensuring that no files were hidden behind the faucets or drains. She even examined the toilet tank and bowl, her determination to find the files driving her to leave no stone unturned.

Finally, Stephanie turned her attention to Ryan's laptop and bag. She carefully examined the laptop's exterior and interior, searching for any hidden compartments or files. She then turned her attention to the bag, rummaging through the pockets and compartments in search of the elusive files.

Stephanie slumped onto the bed, disappointment etched on her face. She had searched every inch of the room, but to no avail. Her gaze fell upon a small, artificial flower base that had fallen on the ground near the bedroom wall. She stared at it, feeling a pang of frustration.

But then, something caught her eye. A small, almost imperceptible nob on the wall, near the baseboard, seemed out of place. Stephanie's eyes narrowed as she walked over to investigate.

She reached out and grasped the nob, her heart racing with anticipation. With a gentle pull, the nob came loose, revealing a small, secret drawer hidden inside the wall. The drawer creaked open, revealing a stack of documents inside.

Stephanie's eyes widened as she exclaimed, "Yes! Here it is!" She carefully removed the documents from the drawer, her hands trembling with excitement. She had finally found what she was looking for.

With the documents clutched tightly in her hand, Stephanie walked back to the bed and picked up her phone to call Christopher.
