A week later, Rain was having lunch with Phayu but Rain knew that the older man was distracted, he noticed how Phayu would get lost in thoughts every few minutes. Rain wondered what was bothering Phayu
“Phee, is everything alright?” Rain asked in worry as he looked at Phayu.
Phayu looks at Rain and blinks before he smiles, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to worry you! Everything is alright…”
“You can tell me! Share your troubles with me…” Rain spoke calmly.
For a couple of days, Rain noticed how Phayu always seemed tense and worried. Even when they were together, Phayu will become absent minded
Rain had a feeling that something was bothering Phayu and he hoped that the older man would tell him about it.
Phayu sighs before grabbing Rain’s hand and kissing, “I don’t want to trouble you too, let me be the only one to worry..”
“But, Phee!” Rain looks at Phayu unwilling
“I want my soon to be husband, always smiling and happy. Seeing you happy would lessen my stress..” Phayu told Rain who sighs before nodding
“Fine! But if you feel like you can’t handle it then please share it with me…” Rain requested Phayubwho nodded in response.
Tan and Fang were walking around the market. This time Fang came alone as last time, he was scolded badly for abandoning Un.
“Too bad that the General isn’t here, I had many ideas to prank him..” Tan commented which made Fang roll his eyes.
“What idea? Make him drink sock water or maggot juice?” Fang spoke sarcastically
“Aww! Fan! My ideas aren’t that bad…” Tan clings to Fang and pouts which almost made Fang coo in adoration.
“Okay, okay… sometimes, it’s actually good. My dad is still traumatised by how he finds the same doll everywhere…” Fang spoke thoughtfully
“See!” Tan smiles brightly which made Fang smile too.
“You’re so delicate, already sweating…” Tan sighs as he takes out a handkerchief to wipe Fang’s forehead. Fang froze in surprise as he stared at Tan with wide eyes.
Tan was caring, so caring that Fang felt that sometimes his heart started beating abnormally. He knew the boy only for a week yet Fang knew that he was attracted to him.
“Are you thirsty? It’s kind of hot today…” Tan commented before pulling Fang to the restaurant. Once Tan ordered food for them, he handed Fang water to drink.
“By the way, I always forget to ask you. Tell me about your family, do both of your parents work for the royal family?” Tan asked in curiosity. Fang gulps as he thought about a lie before responding
“My Dad is the chief guard? Mom is the Queen's personal servant…”
“Oh! That’s why you dress so nicely! What about them? Are King and Queen cool people? What about princes? I only met P’Phayu and he’s cool! Oh! P’Shan told me about Prince Un! I heard he’s really beautiful and like a fairy…” Tan spoke nonstop without noticing how Fang’s face was sour due to jealousy.
Fang coughed before he spoke, “It’s nonsense, Prince is good but Prince Fang is more beautiful! He’s smart, talented and really handsome..” Fang said proudly
“Oh! More handsome than you?” Tan asked in curiosity, Fang’s cheek turned red due to Tan’s words and drinks water to calm himself
“You think I’m handsome?” Fang asked once he calmed down.
