The whole royal family including Rain and ministers gathered for the departure of Phayu and Sky. Phayu bowed to his parents before they pulled him in for a hug.
“Bring back that idiot safely” Queen told Phayu who nodded with a serious face.
Fang and Un hugged him too and then Phayu turned to Rain who was instructing Sky. Soon Rain turned around to face him and the younger man appeared upset.
Rain tried not to cry while looking at Phayu emotionally, “Come back safely, I will be waiting…”
Both wanted to hug each other but due to the public, they didn’t. Phayu pats Rain’s hair before looking at Sky and nodding. Soon the troops marched towards the border.
Everyone slowly returned back while Rain was still standing there looking lost. Both his lover and best friend went to war zones and Rain couldn’t stop worrying about them.
“Let’s go back, dear. They will be back soon…” Queen coax Rain who nodded quietly.
“I shall be back later…” Fang informed his parents and ran away before anyone could stop him.
He rushed to find Tan and fortunately, the younger guy was at Rain’s shop. Tan was surprised to see Fang here and quickly came to greet him
“Fan, why are you here? Um, are you okay?” Tan asked in curiosity as he stared at Fang from head to toe.
Fang was biting his lips and appeared troubled which made Tan quite nervous too, “Is everything okay?”
Tan gently touches Fang’s mouth corner to free the lip which made Fang sigh. He took a deep breath and spoke in serious voice
“I have something to tell you…”
“You’re scaring me… is everything okay?” Tan asked as he started to panic.
“I like you! I like you a lot..” Fang confessed as he looked at Tan with worry.
“….Like? Me?!” Tan asked in shock while pointing at himself, Fang nodded nervously
“…Wow, thank you. Um, I’m not sure what I feel but I adore you too…” Tan said with a red cheek. Fang relaxed after hearing Tan, at least the younger man didn’t reject him. Fang still had hope.
“But why did you confess suddenly?” Tan asked in curiosity. Fang gives Tan puppy eyes as he grabbed Tan’s hand and spoke in tiny voice
“Please don’t hate me….”
“I will never hate you, unless you murder my family or stab my back…” Tan said with a serious voice but it didn’t make Fang any less tense.
“….I’m Prince… The youngest prince Fang…” Fang confessed, he closed his eyes tightly in fear of seeing Tan’s disappointed face.
“Fang.. I already know that..” Tan spoke, making Fang open his eyes and look at Tan in shock.
“P’Shan saw us together in the market and asked me why Prince was with me…” Tan said smiling in embarrassment as he rubs his neck
“When?!” Fang was surprised
“A week ago? When we went to the tea house…” Tan explains to Fang who nodded dumbly. They knew each other for three weeks now and Fang planned to tell Tan about his identity but was hesitating due to younger’s reaction
“So… are we still good?” Fang asked Tan in worry
“Yep, you meant no harm so I don’t care that you hide your identity…” Tan said in a relaxed voice.
