Author's pov..
The laughter between Jisung and Minho continued as they made their way down the busy street, the tension from their earlier encounter now replaced by playful teasing.
Minho was still grinning, his arm tucked around Jisung's as they walked together. But Jisung wasn't having as much fun, his pout still firmly in place.
"Comeee onnn," Minho giggled, pulling Jisung along, but Jisung refused to budge, his sulky expression still intact.
"You cheated!" Jisung suddenly yelled, his voice playful yet accusatory.
"I didn't, baby. It was one of the rules," Minho replied with a mischievous grin.
"Don't call me baby," Jisung warned, his lips forming a stubborn pout. "Or I won't talk to you."
"Oh? Don't talk to me, and I won't let you meet my cats again," Minho shot back, his voice dripping with mock seriousness.
Jisung stopped in his tracks, turning sharply to face Minho. The pout on his face faded as a mischievous grin replaced it. "Jagiyaa~ you know I love those cats?" he teased, his voice sweet and playful.
Minho raised an eyebrow, teasing right back. "Nah nah," he said, trying to play it cool.
The two of them stared at each other for a moment, the teasing atmosphere thick in the air. Then, without warning, Jisung stuck out his tongue at Minho, giving him a cheeky grin before running off.
Minho's smile turned into a tight-lipped grin as he shook his head. "He's foive" he muttered to himself, before taking off after Jisung.
Running through the crowded street wasn't easy, but Minho pushed his way through, determination in his eyes as he chased after Jisung. He could see Jisung ahead, the distance between them shrinking as they neared the end of the street.
With a burst of speed, Minho finally caught up to Jisung. But the sudden force with which Minho threw himself onto Jisung's shoulder caused him to lose his balance, and Jisung stumbled, falling towards the ground.
Before Jisung could hit the pavement, Minho swiftly wrapped his arm around Jisung's waist and pulled him close, their faces just inches apart. The playful smiles between them faded, replaced by the sudden intensity of the moment. Their breaths grew heavier, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
But then, a small tug on Minho's pants broke the silence. They both looked down to see a little girl standing beside them, staring up at them with wide eyes.
"Don't you have a home to do that? Use your mind," the girl said, her voice innocent but stern.
Minho and Jisung quickly pulled away from each other, their faces flushed with embarrassment. Jisung bit his lip, trying to hide his awkwardness, while Minho struggled to suppress his laughter.
"Cat got your tongue?" the little girl asked again, her head tilted slightly as she studied them both.
"Uh-huh," Jisung replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he crossed his arms and looked down at the girl.
"You look pretty," the girl said, a smile creeping onto her face as she complimented Jisung.
Minho, kneeling down beside Jisung, couldn't resist giving the girl a teasing look. "Don't try to snatch my husband," he said, his voice playful .
The little girl blinked, her confusion evident. "You have a husband?" she asked, her head tilting even further.
"Who else do you think he is? My grandma?" Minho laughed, his tone lighthearted as he nudged Jisung.
"I don't like you, but I want that ice cream," the girl said bluntly, pointing to the nearby ice cream stall.
Minho and Jisung exchanged an amused look before heading over to buy ice creams for all three of them. They sat down on a nearby bench, enjoying their treats while the little girl licked at her ice cream with delight.
"What's your name?" Jisung asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Chaeryeong," the girl answered, her voice soft but confident.
"Where are your parents?" Minho asked, his tone softer now as he looked at her.
"I don't have any. Is it important to have them?" Chaeryeong blinked, her innocent eyes looking up at Minho.
"Nah, they're bitches anyways," Minho replied casually, causing Jisung to immediately smack his arm in protest.
"Don't curse in front of a baby!" Jisung scolded Minho, his face a mix of embarrassment and frustration.
Chaeryeong giggled at the exchange, clearly unbothered by the adult conversation around her.
No matter how much fun they had with the girl, jisung pouted in end cause they had to leave her there. Like jisung.. Kinda wished.. He could have her.. Like adopt her? Not in the specific way but jisung felt really bad when chaeryeong said she don't have parents. I mean, he just don't want anyone having the same childhood like his.
But either way, they left the girl at the place she said her grandma lives and went back home.
