Author's pov...

Jisung stumbled through the front door, still feeling the effects of the night out with Felix.

His head was spinning slightly, but there was a warmth in his chest that wasn't just from the alcohol.

But as soon as he stepped inside, he was met with a storm.

Minho stood in the living room, his arms crossed, eyes blazing with anger.

His voice was sharp, filled with frustration.

"Where the hell were you? Why didn't you pick up your phone before? Jisung, why-"

Jisung didn't let him finish. Without thinking, he grabbed Minho by the neck, pulling him in for a kiss.

It was sudden and bold, driven by a mix of alcohol-fueled confidence and something deeper-something he had been holding back for too long.

Minho was taken aback at first, but the moment their lips met, it was like everything around them stopped.

His world exploded in a rush of fire and warmth, fireworks igniting in his chest, the night sky suddenly glowing with vibrant color.

The cool wind that passed them felt like a caress, and for a brief moment, Minho swore he was lying in a flower bed, surrounded by softness and peace.

He couldn't resist. His hands found Jisung's waist, pulling him closer, and they kissed for a little longer, as if the world had disappeared just for them.

When they finally pulled back, their breaths were fast, hearts pounding.

Their foreheads rested against each other, both of them a little dazed.

"Isn't Jisungie so sweet?" Jisung giggled, his eyes full of love, his gaze fixed on Minho with the kind of softness that melted Minho's heart.

"He's the sweetest, actually," Minho murmured, his voice shaky with emotion.

But then, as if a cold bucket of water had been thrown over him, reality crashed back. Minho's eyes widened, panic creeping into his chest.

He couldn't do this. Jisung would hate him in the morning. He had to pull away.

Minho gently pushed Jisung back, his hands trembling as he turned away, walking toward his room.

Jisung stood frozen for a moment, his heart sinking, but then he gathered the courage to speak. "I... I kinda like you now. I don't know for how long, but I do."

Minho's steps faltered. His eyes flickered back to Jisung, and his lips trembled. Before he could say anything, his hands found Jisung again, pulling him into a tight hug.

It felt like the most natural thing in the world.

Was it wrong to say this hug was the best cure for Minho?

He felt like he was holding his favorite cat in his arms, the warmth and softness making everything else fade away.

"I kinda like you too, Jisung," Minho laughed while a tear slipping down his cheek.

Jisung pulled back slightly, his innocent eyes wide as he looked at Minho. "Then why are you crying?" he asked, his voice soft with concern.

Minho's sobs were quiet but uncontrollable. He couldn't hold them back anymore, the weight of everything he had been holding inside crashing down on him.

"I missed you. It was so hard for me to avoid you" Minho said, hugging jisung even tighter. His breath got sucked in as the he cries harder.. Like a baby.

Jisung gently cupped Minho's face, his voice steady now, though still filled with sincerity. "Please... Please tell me you won't ignore me again."

Minho's eyes were searching Jisung's, his heart full of emotions he couldn't name. He wanted to make everything right. He needed to make it right.

"I want to see a smile on your face, Jisung. Doesn't matter what I have to do for it," Minho said, his voice breaking.

The confession was raw, but it was the truth.

The depth of his love for Jisung was overwhelming, and he couldn't deny it anymore.

Jisung's face softened, the last traces of worry fading away.

He leaned in, his arms wrapped tightly around Minho, and the two of them stood there, holding each other, not needing words anymore.

The chapter ended with the promise of something new, something neither of them had fully realized they needed-until now.
