Author's pov..
On the other hand of all sweetness, there was an obstacle approaching.
Chan's chain of thoughts raced as he noticed how annoyed he was with Minho.
In work, in friendship, and even when Minho introduced him, he never missed an opportunity to annoy him.
But now, Chan was ready for a bit of teasing.
He nodded to himself as he made up his mind. His eyes blinked and a smile spread across his lips.
He picked up his phone and made a call.
"Oh hey, Chan," Jisung greeted as he answered.
"Hey, I wanted to ask when you're coming back. I miss our hangouts, Sung," Chan said.
"I do too, I'll be back in two days," Jisung replied, smiling. The conversation continued, with Jisung excitedly talking about his honeymoon-well, his fake honeymoon, while Chan's mind wandered to another topic.
Two days passed faster than expected, and the friend group reunited. Beer, talks, giggles, and fun filled the night.
"Hi? You're sitting here?" Chan asked as he walked over to where Jisung sat alone in a corner.
"I hate being social that much," Jisung replied. With more people around, he was right to feel a little awkward.
"I know. It's okay," Chan said. Jisung hummed in agreement and took another drink.
"Anyways, how did you marry Minho, though? I'm still wondering how someone could fall for their own stalker," Chan said, a teasing edge in his voice as he raised an eyebrow.
"Stalker?" Jisung asked, confused.
"You didn't know he liked you?" Chan asked, now more serious.
Chan wasn't sure if Jisung knew about Minho stalking him for the past eight years, but he figured he should have at least told Jisung that Minho had been in love with him for so long.
"Like? What are you even talking about, bro? Go sleep, you're drunk," Jisung giggled, brushing it off.
It wasn't that Jisung didn't understand what Chan meant-it was just that he hadn't figured it out on his own. It felt a bit unfair for someone so pretty to not realize things like this himself.
