As the elders of the Covenant of Champions solidified their strategies, Andres and his group arrived at the Adventurer’s Hall, where they found Garrick deep in conversation with Ashton. The atmosphere was tense, charged with the weight of impending danger.

“Garrick!” Andres called, approaching him with urgency. “We need to talk. We brought two survivors from Frostbound Tyrant. They need medical attention and support.”

Garrick turned, his expression shifting from concentration to concern. “Survivors? What happened out there?”

Ashton stepped in, his voice serious. “We need to ensure their safety and gather more information on our enemies.”

“Bring them here,” Garrick replied, motioning for a nearby healer to assist. “We’ll get them treated right away. Every life matters, especially now.”

Meanwhile, one of the survivors, Ji-Hoon Park, looked around nervously, his hands trembling. “I… I want to help. I’m a Mage-Cleric. I can do something,” he insisted, his voice barely above a whisper.

Andres knelt beside him, concern etched on his face. “Ji-Hoon, your recovery is the priority right now. You can’t help if you’re not in a good place. We’ll need your skills later.”

Ji-Hoon hesitated, anxiety flickering in his eyes, but he nodded reluctantly. “Okay… but I want to do something. I can’t just sit here.”

Just then, Marcus entered the hall, flanked by Lena. “I’ve received updates on the dark guild’s movements,” he announced, commanding attention. “We’ve gathered intel suggesting they’re planning a strike against Valoria in the coming days. We must fortify our defenses.”

“Have you pinpointed their hideout?” Garrick inquired, his brow furrowed.

“Not yet, but we’re close. Kenji’s scouting team has eyes on potential locations,” Marcus explained, his voice steady. “We’ll need to coordinate an assault to catch them off-guard.”

At that moment, Kenji stepped in, his demeanor serious. “I’ve spotted some of their members nearby. They’re gathering supplies and information. If we can intercept them, we might get valuable insights into their plans.”

“Good work,” Garrick replied. “Let’s set a trap. We need to draw them out and get answers.”

As the discussion continued, tension grew in the air. The elders recognized the stakes were higher than ever. They had to act fast to protect their home and those they cared about.

Suddenly, a loud commotion erupted outside the hall. The door burst open, and a panicked villager stumbled in, gasping for breath. “They’re here! The dark guild is attacking!”

Garrick’s eyes widened. “Everyone, prepare for an emergency! We need to defend the hall and the town. Assemble the guild members!”

“Max, you need to stay with the survivors,” Andres instructed firmly, his eyes scanning the chaotic surroundings. “We can’t risk their safety in all this chaos. Ji-Hoon, I want you to use your magic to help protect them as best as you can.”

“Right!” Ji-Hoon nodded vigorously, determination flooding his expression. “I won’t let anything happen to them.”

Andres handed Ji-Hoon the Legendary Phoenix Frostfire Staff, its aura radiating warmth and power. “This should amplify your abilities. Just remember, focus on defense.”

Ji-Hoon’s eyes widened at the sight of the staff. “Wow, thank you, Andres! I’ll make sure to use it wisely!”

Andres then pulled out two bottles of standard mana potions, handing them to Max. “Here, take these. They’ll help you stay alert and ready if things get intense.”

Max looked at the potions, then back at Andres. “Are you sure you want me to stay back? I can help fight, too!”

“Max,” he said, his tone softening. “I need you to be their shield right now. You’re the strongest one here. If something happens to you while protecting them, it won’t just be them who suffers. We need you to hold the line.”

She sighed, her resolve hardening. “Okay, I understand. I’ll protect them with everything I’ve got.”

Andres smiled, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders. “That’s the spirit. We’ll handle things on our own end. Just keep your eyes open.”

Ji-Hoon interjected, “I’ll set up a blessing around them. If anyone tries to get too close, they’ll have to deal with me first.”

“Exactly,” Max replied, nodding at Ji-Hoon. “We’ll keep them safe, I promise.”

“Good,” Andres affirmed, feeling the bond of trust between them. “Stay in constant communication. If anything goes wrong, don’t hesitate to call for help.”

With a final nod, the trio set their roles, ready to face the chaos ahead, each determined to protect those who needed it most.

The scene shifted outside Valoria, where the dimly lit hideout of the Ravenous echoed with maniacal laughter holding his familiar a Shadow Lynx. As the night deepened, Tariq Ndungu leaned back in his chair, a sinister smirk playing on his lips. The shadows flickered and danced around him, creating an almost theatrical atmosphere in the dimly lit hideout of the Ravenous. He turned to face his followers, who were hanging on his every word.

“Ha! The fools in Valoria have fallen right into my trap!” he cackled, his voice reverberating through the shadows. “They think they can defend themselves against me and my Ravenous. Little do they know, their precious guilds are just pawns in my game!”

“Do you know what makes this moment so deliciously satisfying?” Tariq asked, his voice low and conspiratorial. “It’s the look of absolute disbelief on their faces when they finally realize who I truly am.”

Around him, his loyal followers shifted restlessly, exchanging uneasy glances. Tariq’s confidence seemed to intoxicate them, even as a sense of dread loomed in the air. He leaned back in his chair, the flickering candlelight casting eerie shadows across his features.

“Look at them!” Tariq gestured dramatically to a crude map spread out before him, depicting Valoria and its surrounding territories. “The fools believe they have a chance! But we’ve already retreated, sensing the full force of those pathetic guilds gathering. They think they’re prepared, but they’ve left their gates wide open!”

He rose from his seat, pacing around the dimly lit room with purpose, his voice growing more animated. “They see the leader of a ragtag group, but what they don’t see is the puppet master pulling the strings. I am the hand that guides the chaos. I am the storm that will sweep Valoria into oblivion!”

The room fell silent, the gravity of his words sinking in. Tariq paused, letting the tension build before he continued, “I have many faces, and each one serves a purpose. When the time is right, I will reveal my true self to them. They’ll know me as the one who brought their precious guilds to their knees.”

A whisper of awe rippled through the group, and Tariq savored their reaction. “And do you know why? Because I am not just Tariq Ndungu. I am the harbinger of their doom. The Ravenous will rise, and Valoria will crumble beneath our feet!”
