~Faith~
"Got everything, Faith?" Ada asked. I nodded and buried myself into the cushy chair in the hospital waiting room, not wanting to leave. "Let's go," she said, sounding annoyed. I stood up and followed Ada outside. It was dark and cool outside. It was about 7:00 pm. I followed Ada in silence as we walked to the bus stop. Then, my phone chimed.
From: Niall
To: Faith
how are you sweetie? did you leave the hospital already?
I text him back.
From: Faith
To: Niall
yep we just left, be home soon.
A minute later, I get another text from him.
From: Niall
To: Faith
ok babe. text me when you get there xoxo
I push my phone into my pocket as Ada finds the bus stop. We sit there and wait in silence.
"So how again are we paying for the hospital bills?" She asks.
"Like I told you, it's all worked out. I worked it out with...the hospital employees."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"You're absolutely positive?"
"Yes."
"Whatever you say Faith, but if we get massive bills from the hospital, it's your fault." I roll my eyes.
"We won't."
"All right, fine." The bus slowly pulls up and we get on. Ada pays the bus fare for both of us. I sit down and close my eyes, just for a moment...
"Faith? Faith! Wake up!" I was awakened to the sound of my sister. I open my eyes groggily.
"What?"
"We're getting off here!" Ada grabs my arm and pulls a half-asleep me off of the bus. Then we walk the two blocks back to the house.
~Niall~
My phone chimes, and I know I've gotten a text from Faith.
From: Faith
To: Niall
just got home!
I text her back.
From: Niall
To: Faith
great! can i come over tonight?
She writes me back.
From: Faith
To: Niall
sure! maybe at eleven
I write back.
From: Niall
To: Faith
okay babe :)
I put my phone away and wait the tiring three and a half hours until eleven.
~Eleven O'Clock~
I stop my bike in front of Faith's window. I gently tap on the glass. Faith, in pajamas, runs to the window and opens it.
"Niall!" She murmurs.
"Faith! What do you want to do tonight?"
"I was thinking, you can stay here!"
"And do what?"
"Sleep."
"With you? You mean like...sex?" Faith laughs.
"No, silly! Just sleep. Like regular people do."
"Sounds good to me, as long as we're just sleeping." I pull myself through the window and pull off my jacket. I take off my shoes, too, and sit on the bed next to Faith. "You're so beautiful," I murmur to her, rubbing her back softly.
"You really think so?"
"Most definitely." I lean forward and kiss her, gently, on the lips. I pull back after a few seconds. "Hey Faith, are you ticklish?"
"Yes, so don't-" Too late. I grab her and tickle her. She doubles over and tries to contain her laughter, but soon she starts giggling, hard. I discover her weakness, her tummy, which makes her laugh so hard tears come to her eyes. She regains her breath as she lies on the floor, her hands covering her exposed tummy.
"I found your sweet spot," I said, reaching out to tickle her tummy again.
"Stop it," she giggles, throwing herself down on the bed. Her shirt is up, exposing her tummy and bellybutton piercing.
"Have fun?" I ask her, smiling.
"Mmm hmm." She looked up at me with her perfect blue eyes."I love you, Niall," she said.
"I love you too." We kiss again, this time more passionately than before. When we finally pulled back, I said,
"Well, let's sleep." I go under the blanket and she does too. She gently rested her head on my chest.
"I love you."
~The Morning~
The sun had just come up. It was probably six o'clock in the morning. Faith was still sleeping with her head on my chest, and I was awake. A few rays of sunlight shone through the window. I stretched and Faith stirred, waking up.
"Niall?" She yawned, sitting up.
"Yeah babe?"
"You'll have to go soon. Before Ada wakes up."
"I know, sweetie. I'll stay for just a little while longer." I put my head down and before I knew it I was sleeping.
"Niall!" I heard a hushed voice say. I opened my eyes and checked the time. Seven thirty in the morning. "Niall, Ada's awake. You have to leave now!" I jumped out of the bed and squeezed my feet into my sneakers.
"We'll have to do this again sometime," I said, giving her a quick hug. "Bye now."
"Bye Niall!" She whispered as I jumped out of the window.
