Chaeyoung received a warm call from his mom one morning, her voice filled with affection as she checked on how he was doing in school.
"I'm doing fine, Mom," Chaeyoung reassured her.
His mom chuckled softly, then added, "Chaerin misses you so much. She's been asking when she can see you again. Why don't you two spend some time together? She could really use it, and I think you could too."
Chaeyoung's resolve melted instantly.
He couldn't resist Chaerin's charm, her adorable voice echoing in his mind.
"Alright, Mom, I'll take her out this weekend," he replied, already smiling at the thought.
Chaeyoung adored his little sister.
Everything about her—from her wide, toothy smile to her bubbly energy—was precious to him. She worked just as hard as he did, excelling in school and tackling challenges with determination.
But in his eyes, she was still his cute little sister, and he felt a strong protective bond toward her.
When he told their upcoming mall outing to his friends, Nayeon perked up immediately.
"Wait, Chaerin? Oh my gosh, I haven't seen her in forever! Can I come? Can I come, please?"
Chaeyoung laughed at her enthusiasm.
"Sure, Nayeon, the more, the merrier." Tzuyu overheard the conversation and, though she desperately wanted to join them, her schedule was packed with a big project.
She sighed softly, disappointed.
"I wish I could come, but I've got something important to take care of," she said.
Her words didn't go unnoticed.
Nayeon felt a twinge of guilt for being excited while Tzuyu was left out. But somewhere deep down, there was also a spark of hope.
This could be her chance to spend some time with Chaeyoung without Tzuyu around. She quickly pushed the thought aside, but it lingered in her heart.
Tzuyu gave them an encouraging smile, masking her disappointment.
"You two have fun. Make sure to spoil Chaerin for me," she said with a teasing grin.
Chaeyoung nodded, already planning the perfect day for his sister.
Nayeon, meanwhile, couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension as she prepared to see Chaerin again—
and maybe,
just maybe,
get closer to Chaeyoung in the process.

The day finally arrived, and Chaeyoung found himself at Nayeon and Tzuyu's dorm.
Tzuyu had already left for her project, leaving just Chaeyoung and Nayeon to plan the outing with his little sister, Chaerin.
The cozy warmth of the living room made it easy to relax, and the two of them casually chatted about ideas for the day.
Nayeon, sitting cross-legged on the couch, was the first to throw out a suggestion.
"We should definitely take her to the arcade," she said, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Chaerin would totally love that." Chaeyoung, leaning back in his chair, nodded thoughtfully.
"Yeah, and maybe we can grab something at the food court after. She's been talking about missing mall food since forever. She's obsessed with those giant pretzels."
