[At Natzu's dorm]

The dorm room was alive with laughter and chatter as Nayeon fluffed the hem of Tzuyu's dress. The sleek navy gown draped perfectly on her slender frame, the light shimmer of the fabric catching the dim glow of the overhead light. Nayeon tilted her head, a playful smirk on her face.

"Are you sure you're just planning to dance tonight?" Nayeon teased, her tone light and mischievous. "Because this outfit says you've got... other things in mind."

Tzuyu's cheeks flushed a deep pink as she shook her head furiously. "Unnie, stop! It's not like that!" she said, her voice defensive but laced with nervous giggles.

"Oh, sure," Nayeon replied, crossing her arms and giving Tzuyu an exaggerated once-over. "Chaeyoung's jaw is going to hit the floor when he sees you, and you're over here pretending you haven't thought about it."

"Stop teasing!" Tzuyu said, pouting slightly, though her blush deepened. She turned to the mirror, smoothing her dress nervously. "I just... I'm not sure if I look good enough. What if—what if he's not impressed?"

Nayeon froze for a moment, her playful grin fading. "Tzuyu," she said, walking over to her. "Are you serious right now?"

Tzuyu glanced at her reflection, her lips pressed together in uncertainty. "I mean... Chaeyoung deserves someone stunning. What if I'm not enough?"

Nayeon's expression softened as she placed her hands firmly on Tzuyu's shoulders, spinning her to face her. "Yah, Chou Tzuyu," she said, her voice firm but warm.

"You're literally the most beautiful girl I've ever met. Like, how is this even a question?"

Tzuyu blinked, her expression faltering.

"You think so?"

"Think so?" Nayeon scoffed, gesturing dramatically.

"Do you know how many people stop and stare when you walk into a room? With your makeup tonight—simple, elegant—and that dress? You're going to attract everyone's glances. Trust me, Chaeyoung's not going to be able to take his eyes off you."

Tzuyu's lips curved into a small smile, her confidence lifting just a bit. "Thanks, Unnie. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Nayeon grinned and gave her a light nudge. "That's what I'm here for. Now, stop doubting yourself and go enjoy your night, okay?"

But even as she spoke, Tzuyu couldn't shake the heaviness in her chest. Deep down, she knew why she felt this way. It wasn't just nerves or self-doubt—it was guilt.

She simply knew.

That Nayeon herself liked Chaeyoung awell.

It wasn't hard to tell. The way Nayeon's eyes lit up when he was around, the way she talked about him with that soft, wistful smile—it was obvious. And yet, here Nayeon was, helping her get ready, cheering her on, acting as if it didn't bother her at all.
