Chapter 10: New York the big and bad

hey demigods sorry i havent written in a while tests sols and HOMEWORK lots of it.  plus ive been sick alot recently

Grovers POV:

we all turned back around and took one last look at my sisters house, gulped, and then walked away waving never looking back

2 months later filled with walking fighting running and no sleeping

things were going great until we got closer to New York when the monsters started coming.

"What is going on" Annabeth panted. we had been attacked by small monsters all the way here but we had just fought a small pack of 10  Stymphalian Birds 

"Where are they all coming from" Thalia added grabbing the water bottle and taking a big gulp."I have one theory" Nico mumbled. piper elbowed him in the ribs sharply

"Nico stop kidding around" he put his hands up in surrender.  Annabeth and Thalia drank some nectar and cleaned off their daggers.

"This routine is getting all to familiar" i stated, everyone else nodded in agreement. other than a few dracne, some hellhounds, an emposa and many small monsters we hadnt been attacked that much. JUST KIDDING we have been attacked alot more than usual

"I know there are alot of demigods together but this is ridiculous" Annabeth said, Piper was about to say something when a hell-hound popped out from behind a trashcan. "Holy crap" Nico said as it jumped over his head and right in front of Thalia. 

She pulled out her dagger and lunged at it but the beast slashed her chest ripping open her shirt at the bottom and making her bleed and then biting her arm but she slapped him with her dagger and pushed it up against the wall in front of her but she could barely move much less attack but she kept going. Annabeth decided assist her so she quickly whipped out her hat and her dagger and quickly disappeared. 

A few cuts appeared at The hell hounds side before i heard annabeth grunt and a big slam. the beast was  stabbed by Nico and Piper simultaneously after they got their weapons out. i wounder whats going on with them? 

Annabeth took off her cap and poured a little bit of nectar on her big leg wound then on Thalia's stomach "Thanks death breath and you too princess" Annabeth said hugging Piper than tackling Nico from behind "welcome Bethie" they both said to her.  then Thalia hugged Piper and did their secret handshake with Nico. "Welcome poky pine" Nico and Piper said together. We all got up cracked our fingers and went on our way.

"Where are we Grover" Piper said turrning the map all ways tring to make since of it "I have no idea my mental GPS gets screwed up in New York except for at camp"

we all stared hopelessly at a map that we couldnt read anymore due to the darkness "Thalia think you could set us up with some lightning" she glared at nico with ice in her eyes, enough to freeze Brazil.

"No no i cant"  "hold on" i looked at it and suddenly knew exactly how to get there and where we were "Ok guys were in the middle of his neighborhood" they all gasped at me "lets go ask someone for his address" Piper suggested.

we all picked a light blue house with a garden in the front with a little brick path down the center and little waves painted on a chair outside the house. we walked up the rustic stairs and rang the doorbell. we heard shouting laughing and i heard 3 vaguely familiar vocies.

A little frizzy brown haired girl with dark skin in PJs answered the door. she just stood there staring. Then a blonde guy with blue eyes and jeans and a sweatshirt on came up. Then a very familiar messy black haired came to the door racing after his sister. Hazel and Percy just stared in confusion and....... umm............. Jason?? yeah thats it jason just squinted till he realized who i was.

What luck!!!!

sorry guys i seriously HATE my school and my best friends dad was in Boston during the bombing and shes not sure weather hes ok or not so ive had a stressfull time!! THAT DOESNT EXCUSE MYSELF IM SOOOOOOOOO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING!!!!!!!! Love you guys
