Percy's POV:

i just stood there watching as my old best friend and 4 strangers walked into my house. there was a cute blonde one that caught me staring at her and blushed as did i but Hazel slapped me and shook her head as if to say 'oh no you don't remember Sam that cute girl you have a crush on' how could i forget her so block out cute blonde girl.

but Perrcy shes cute and you like cute girls

no i like Sam not just any cute girl Sam S-A-M

mmmmhm whatever you know you like blondes

but i like sam not some random blonde chic i just met

but shes blonde!!!!!

"soo who are you" Jason said as he kept glancing at a pretty brunette chic with braids down the sides of her hair

"Well i'm piper"the pretty brunette one "this is Annabeth" the pretty blonde one "this is Thalia" she was scary but she was also gorgeous and interesting to look at i mean her hair and clothes are awesome but TOTALLY not my type.

"Well you guys already know me GROVER DOM DOM DOM" he must've had coffee i looked around and saw everyone had the same idea " this little scary goth kid is Nico" Nico glared at him but just rolled his eyes

"sooo why are you here" Hazel asked looking at Nico for a second then looking at Grover "well we we're looking for you to tell you we're going to your school this year" "REALLY" Hazel jumped at Grover giving him a full fledged tackle hug "AHHHHHHHHH HELP A NUT IS ATTACKING ME" we all broke out into giggling fits

"well see you next week" i said hugging Grover and bro hugging Nico then nodding at Thalia waving flirtatiously at piper she just laughed then said "back off bud" i had the feeling i have when Sam tells me to do something like i have to "yes ma'am" she widened her eyes then hurried off. and i just winked at Annabeth and she blushed like hardcore blushed................... Whoopsies

once they all left Hazel looked really mad at me "HOW COULD YOU" "how could i what" even Jason looked mad at me "TO SAM SHES MY BEST FRIEND" "What?t??" "YOU. LIKE. ANNABETH." Jason spelled it out for me as my eyes widened in realization " i do not" "yes yes you do" "If you hurt Sam i will do the same to you" "i would never hurt Sam i've had a crush on her since i saw that fluffy pink jacket sobbing in the forest by the lake" i thought back to that day and wouldn't stop smiling

I was walking through the forest trying to find a comfort stop preferably near water when i heard sobbing

"Hello who's there" a girl with stunning brown hair and eyes that kept changing colors but right now were puffy and red from crying looked up "Can you please leave me alone" she held surprising power in her words for someone who was just sobbing. I tried to fight it but i couldn't so i turned and left

"no no wait I'm sorry" she wiped her tears and held out her hand for me to shake "I'm Samantha" i took her hand and lifted her up effortlessly "I'm Percy" "you can call me Sam by the way" she wiped some newly fallen tears "So what are you doing out here" "why were you crying?" her look hardened but she started to soften and i knew i hit a soft spot

"well i was looking for a relaxing place by water" i motioned around us and pointed at the lake "oh, well i was trying to escape my dad he and i got in a small fight" i looked and saw a huge red mark on her arm "really that" i said gesturing to her arm "is a small fight"

her face tightened and she turned away covering up her arm with a hot pink hoodie that she took off revealing a light blue tight T-shirt with pink sleeves and a little pink bird on it..................................cute

"wanna have some fun" i smiled. she looked alarmed but then i grabbed her by the waist and jumped in the lake with her skinny little body slung over my shoulder. even though she weighed about as much as me she was WAYYY smaller

"OMG i cant swim" she sputtered before sinking and her hair was lashing around as she tried swim back up "HELP" she screamed before quickly sinking again.

i couldn't move i just watched as she sank this time not coming back up. i dove down scooping up her body but she was dead weight. i swam to the surface and put her soaking body on the ground

"come on Sam Sam wake up SAM" i shook her for awhile. i put my hands on her stomach and focused on the sound of the lake so i don't jump in the lake and kill myself. " *cough cough* *sputter*" water started gushing out of her pale pink lips " Whatd you do" she asked me as she tried to sit up but failed as she began to hold her stomach and breath real hard "Can you help me home" "sure where do you live" "in the apartments near here room 7L" i picked her up and carried her most of the way home but i needed a break i'm strong but not strong enough to carry a 89 lb girl 2 miles.

I finally got to her apartments put her into a wheel chair by the door and got her up to level 7 but i had to leave the wheel chair behind so i carried her to room 7L

"Sam is that you Sam" someone yelled from a room that had glass around the door. "sissy sissy" a little girl and an older man came in and saw me put Sam on the couch "Who are you" they both asked confused but when they saw Sam they both started to cry. she started to stir a bit soo i decided to leave but before i could she grabbed my hand "Thank you so much Percy i owe you my life" she said groggily " How about i meet you in the forest tomorrow at 5 so you can meet someone very important to me" she nodded then let go of my hand "Bye see you tomorrow"

as soon as i left i knew i had a crush on her

since then i couldn't forget that day. after that Hazel me Sam and Jason became best friends and ive been crushing on her since but Annabeth is so pretty and she seems so smart

Percy you totally like Annabeth

no no i don't

Percy you just said why you liked her

but Sam is pretty, smart, funny, and she is just so youthful

so you like Sam too you aren't dating yet

but i know she likes me and it would be cruel to just ignore her plus i want to ask her out badly

fine ask her out and see if you have fun or not OK NOW STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF

"- Hello Perce" i snapped my eyes back to Jason "oh sorry what" " dude you were out for like 10 minutes what up" Hazel just rolled her eyes and moved her skinny little vampire self up the stairs to get some rest

"Dude i decided i'm gonna ask Sam out on the first day of school"

sorry it took so long Exams and HW have been killing me plus i had a few mental break downs because my best friend is moving and my other friend might've commited suicide but they didnt so YAYYY and blechhh

i willl update soon i promise once again
