The ship's engines hummed beneath them as the stars outside stretched into lines, the familiar hum of space travel surrounding them. But inside the cockpit, the air felt different. The tension between Red and Lime hung thick, every word they exchanged laced with something far more than just casual conversation.

Lime turned in their seat, their eyes never leaving Red's face. "You know, Red," they began, their voice slow and teasing, "I've been thinking. This whole 'journey to the unknown' thing? It could be a lot more fun if we... explored a few things along the way." They leaned closer, their voice dropping to a low murmur. "You're so serious, always so... distant. I could help with that, you know."

Red clenched the controls, refusing to look at Lime. He didn't want to acknowledge the way their presence made his pulse quicken, or the fact that every time Lime spoke, it felt like their words were meant for him alone. "I'm not here for your games, Lime." He managed to keep his voice steady, but inside, his thoughts were a chaotic mess.

Lime just smiled, leaning in a little closer. "Games? Come on, Red. What if I told you I could make this journey... a lot more interesting for you? You know, keep you on your toes. Help you... relax a little bit." Lime's hand brushed casually against Red's arm as they spoke, the contact making his skin burn.

Red's grip on the controls tightened. Focus. Focus, he reminded himself. "We're going to the uncharted sector. We have bigger things to worry about than whatever you're trying to do."

Lime didn't pull away. Instead, they shifted closer, their voice sultry. "But that's the thing, Red," they purred. "What if the biggest thing you need right now is me? What if everything you've been running from isn't some grand mystery from your past... but something right in front of you?"

Red's stomach flipped. He didn't know whether to be frustrated or... intrigued. He finally looked at Lime, his eyes flashing with a mix of annoyance and something deeper. "I'm not playing into whatever this is."

Lime's smile grew wider, eyes glinting mischievously. "Who said anything about playing, Red? I'm just offering you... help. The universe has a way of pulling us together, don't you think? We could be really good for each other." Lime's hand rested lightly on Red's knee, their fingers trailing up the inside of his leg in a soft, teasing touch.

Red flinched, a mix of shock and something else rushing through him. His heart pounded in his chest as he tried to maintain his composure. "Stop," he muttered through clenched teeth. "I'm not... I can't."

But Lime only leaned in further, their lips dangerously close to his ear. "You think you can resist, Red? After all this time? You've always had this little thing for me, haven't you?" Their breath was warm against his skin, sending a shiver down his spine. "I can see it in your eyes. Every time we've been in a room together, you've been drawn to me. You know it. And I know it too."

Red's mind was a blur, torn between desire and resistance. He didn't want to admit it—didn't want to face the truth—but every word Lime spoke felt like a spark, lighting something deep inside him. And no matter how much he tried to fight it, he couldn't stop the way his body reacted to Lime's touch.

The ship's sudden jolt interrupted the moment, pulling Red from his thoughts. The lights flickered and the console beeped urgently. "Warning. Uncharted sector detected. Multiple energy readings. Unknown source."

Lime chuckled softly, backing away from Red. "Seems like the universe really is pulling us together, huh?" Their tone was light, but there was something darker beneath it now. "This could be fun. If you can focus, that is."

Red took a deep breath, forcing himself to regain control. "We're here. Let's focus on the mission." He glanced at Lime, his gaze colder now. "This ends once we get through this. You've had your fun."

Lime smirked, crossing their arms over their chest. "We'll see about that, Red. You may think you can ignore me, but I've got a feeling I'm not so easy to forget."

As the ship approached the unknown sector, Red couldn't shake the feeling that something was waiting for them—something that would test everything he thought he knew about himself, and about Lime. But he couldn't let that distract him. Not now.

"Prepare for entry," Red announced, voice firm. "This is it. No turning back."

Lime's eyes glittered with a mixture of excitement and something else. "I'll be right here, Red. Right here, when you need me. Just remember that." They leaned closer, their voice low and dangerous. "Because I'm not the only one who's been waiting for this moment."

With a final glance at Lime, Red punched in the coordinates, his heart racing. The journey into the unknown had begun—and with it, a path that would force him to confront not only his past but the undeniable pull he felt toward Lime.
