"Kairo get the fuck out my face gang." Ciyana brushed off her identical brother because he was truly beginning to agitate her beyond measure.
He was over her house because he'd agreed to put together a new vanity for her. The vanity was a gift from Makai, ironically enough, who had ordered it after seeing it in Ciyana's TikTok reposts. She'd been complaining about her previous one lately anyway.
Aiyana had decided to extend her stay in Illinois for the entire holiday season, knowing she would be booked and busy in California from January to March. Wanting to soak up as much family time as possible, she was there offering moral support since she didn't have the slightest clue how to put any piece of furniture together.
Kairo, who had now finished that task twenty minutes ago, took this as the perfect opportunity to voice his opinion on the man Ciyana had decided to involve herself with. And in simple terms, he was not a fan.
"I'm serious, Yana. Ion' want you talking to that nigga."
"I'm supposed to give a fuck what you want? I'm grown. As fuck too." Her growing attitude evident in her tone. She had no idea why he felt like she needed his two cents. She was going to do what she wanted to do anyway.
"As fuck you heard her. Clock that." Aiyana added on.
"I'm trying to protect her whole time. Her ass just stubborn." Kairo shook his head in irritation, bringing his hand down his face.
"Protect me from what? I'm in danger? Like what are you going on about. You act like he a opp assum'." She genuinely had no idea what he was talking about.
"On bro you finna piss me off, Ciyana." Kairo said since it seemed like she was making no effort to see where he was coming from. He made it hard to though given the fact that he hadn't given one real reason why she should cut him off.
Just speculation and overprotection as always. And they wondered why she'd yet to bring a man home.
"Welp. You already pissed me off." Ciyana shrugged putting her attention on her phone to scroll through instagram reels to show she didn't care for the conversation. And the room was silent for a few moments.
"How long you knew him for? Where you meet him at?" Kairo questioned, his voice softer than the previous tone he held with her.
"I don't know. Not that long. I met him at Gamestop like a month ago." She said honestly, their first encounter playing through her mind as she kept her eyes on her phone.
"You fucked him?" He continued and Ciyana's face scrunched up at the fact he even had the audacity to ask her that. He could be so overbearing.
