Jay's POV

Recently, I've been feeling quite a bit down, i had a small argument with my father and i haven't been able to approach Sunhee either,

Ever since my unexpected confession, we haven't had a normal conversation, i regret confessing my feelings to her in the worst way possible, i mean, my mission to win her heart already seems to have failed before it even started,

I was blinded by jealousy, pure jealousy, totally forgetting the fact that its her life, she is the one to choose the person she loves,

And thats why i decided to spend some time with my most closest best friend among all seven, Sunghoon,

As now I'm entering the passcode to his penthouse, since he had forced me to note his penthouse's password down for incase of any emergency,

He didn't mind me visiting his apartment, doesn't matter if he's present or absent,

However entering inside, i frowned as i noticed the strange atmosphere,
Walking inside further, my frown deepened as i approached the oddly decorated dining table,

My gaze landed on a wine glass, with a red lipstick stain, obviously used by a girl,
I was only observing it in silence until i heard faint chatters and laughters coming from a room,

The laughters seemed like of Sunghoon which got louder as i turned around, meeting with a dressed up Sunghoon, and his face, reddened from the lower part,

As if he just kissed someone, and that was my straw of holding myself back, as Park Sunhee joined the tensed room, her face condition, almost the same as Sunghoon,

And the dots finally connected, my gaze landed on Sunhee as we both made an eye contact,
"Jay-ah..." Sunghoon uttered as the glass of wine dropped from my hand,

Shattering into ample pieces, the classic red wine spreading through the floor, surrounding me, the wine traveling from under my shoes while i kept staring at the both of them,

I felt angry but soon that anger only converted to hurt and disappointment, other mixed emotions that i couldn't even identify myself,

I don't know why i felt this way, we made this deal to confess her and win over heart then why am i reacting like this? I shouldn't, i don't have the right to,

She's not my girlfriend, Sunghoon has his right to take her on a date, if Sunhee's fine with it, then who am i to meddle in their business?

Ofcourse, i can plan out a date with her too now can't i?

I broke out into a laughter, catching them off guard,
I have to play it cool

"Why do you guys seems so frightened? Chill out I'm not gonna eat you guys alive" i assured, trying to shoo away the tensed atmosphere,

They looked rather surprised of my reaction, probably not expecting such a chill reaction, "are you not angry?" Sunghoon asked, seeming hesitant,

"No no" i reassured while frantically waving my hand in the air as i laughed, they seemed pretty unconvinced but i guess, i can make it work,
