GOOD morning," you say, walking into the dining room.

"Morning, kid," Tony replies.

It's the day after Tony's birthday. He, Natasha, and Steve are at the table, and Clint is in the kitchen.

"Ooh, what are you making?" you ask, going into the kitchen to make yourself an iced coffee.

"Pancakes and bacon," Clint responds.

Once your coffee is ready, you put it on the table, then return to the kitchen to help Clint carry the platter of bacon to the table. Peter and Wanda join you as well, most likely lured by the smell of Clint's cooking.

"We're doing some training today, right?" you ask Steve.

He nods. "Maximoff, you ready for your first training session?"

"Yes," she responds as she takes a bite of pancake. "Mm, Clint, by the way, this is delicious."

After breakfast, you brush your teeth and yank your hair into a ponytail, then go into the Weaponry to get your suit and weapons. Natasha, Steve, Vision, and Clint are already in the training room by the time you get there. Tony isn't joining you because he has some inventions he needs to finish up, so when Wanda and Peter arrive, you get started.

Steve, Natasha, and Clint help Wanda and Vision with hand-to-hand combat while you and Peter decide to battle each other.

Peter webs your feet together, causing you to fall over. You fling a dagger (which is made of hollow plastic, for times like these when you and the other Avengers want to practice against each other) at him, and while he's busy dodging it, you use a real blade to slice the webs open. You scramble to your feet, but have to duck down again when Peter aims a kick at you. You grab the foot he's kicked out and give it a sharp tug, causing him to fall to the ground. But while you're fumbling for a gun (a Nerf one, for the same reason as the plastic knives), he starts to regain his balance. You grab his shoulder and pull it backwards, slamming him against the ground. He's already face-up, so you stand on his feet to prevent him from getting up again, then aim the gun at his head.

"Surrender," you say dramatically.

"Never!"

"Then die!" You shoot a couple of the foam Nerf bullets at him.

"No! ...Bleh." Peter's head lolls to the side as he sticks his tongue out.

"Victory!" you yell triumphantly, thrusting a fist into the air.

You set the gun down and get off his feet before helping him stand up again.

"You make an excellent dead person."

"Why, thank you." Peter takes a bow.

You go a few more rounds. Peter uses his superpowers to his advantage, quickly creating a winning streak. But, in the sixth round, you make a comeback by using your knee to block a web, then stomping your foot back on the ground so the web drags Peter to the ground too, and attacking him while he's down.

You decide to go another four rounds for an even 10 — you each win two — then take a break. Everyone goes into the kitchen and Clint whips up turkey and cheese sandwiches for everyone except Vision. Once you're done eating, and you've dropped a sandwich and some chips off in Tony's lab, you go back to training.

Eager to see what Wanda's powers are capable of, you ask if she'd like to battle against you. She agrees, and the two of you go for 5 rounds. Turns out, her powers are capable of a lot. She kicks your ass every time but one, when you manage to scrape a victory by using up what seems like every single Nerf bullet in the tower. Then you battle Natasha and Steve a couple times each. As expected, they both beat you every time. Before you end for the day, you do a little target practice with your knives and guns (the real ones this time).
