With You (FayeYoko)

chapter 24

Yoko has meet her dad's friend, his wife and son. They're nice, it seems. Yoko doesn't have anything to do with that. She is far more busy and happy in her life to think about those things but there is a problem, their son.

Flashback

"You probably don't remember us, it's been what? Like 13 years. It's such a shame we had to move out of the country back then." The woman said, who is her dad's friend's wife.

What was mom calling her earlier? Ah, Amber, right, Yoko thought.

"Yes, auntie Amber, mom told me you guys moved out when I was 7. Why though? If I may ask." Yoko asked smiling politely.

"Business, there was a great opportunity, you're also studying business right, I heard from your dad." Mr. Shawn answered, while the question was for his wife.

Yoko glanced between them, Mrs. Amber was looking down while moving the food on her plate. "That's right. What country was it uncle?" Yoko asked still smiling.

My jaw, oh god, Yoko thought.

"France." He replied shortly before sipping on the water.

"Oh, that's great, I'm planning to go there." Yoko said, a genuine smile on her face as she remembered the meeting with her girlfriend's parents.

Faye has mentioned that, her papa is from France and that he has a house there. She also said that she likes it better than Paris and they should go their together.

"Oh really? Where in France?" He asked rising an eyebrow.

"Guebwiller, it's in Haut-Rhin department of Alsace region if I'm correct. I've never been to France, so I don't know much."

"That's good," He said before turning a little to his son. "I forgot to introduce, this is Alex, my son."

Alex? Yoko thought.

"Hey." Alex said flashing a charming smile at Yoko.

No, Yoko thought.

"Hi." Yoko said with a tight-lipped smile.

"I hope you two get along well since we are back to the country for good. He is your senior and also studying business so if you need any help don't hesitate to ask." Mr. Shawn said smiling.

And then she had to give her number to him, she wanted to give her social media but he mentioned he searched for her account on their way to their place but couldn't find it.

Yoko had decided to deactivate her account for sometime after she finally saw the mess she made with that post. But it doesn't matters if he had her number or not, she is going to ignore anyways.

And that's what she has been doing, he has been texting her for a week now but yeah, she hasn't seen any of it. She is too busy for those things.

And she hasn't mentioned him to Faye because of his name, Faye seems fine but there's no need to mention someone that might remind her of her past.

Faye's birthday is today. At first she wanted to plan something big with their friends but they said that Faye doesn't celebrates her birthday, she doesn't even likes being wished so they don't do anything on her birthday.

And Yoko thought it's time to make a little change. She has been planning a little (intimate) surprise for Faye, just the two of them.

It'll be nice, She thought.

She hasn't wished her yet, keeping the act of not knowing Faye's birthday. But she would be damned if she didn't knew her dear girlfriend's birthday.
