"How did your exams go?" Alex asked sipping on his coffee.

"They were fine-" Yoko stopped as her phone started ringing.

"Wait a minute, I need to take this call." Yoko said as she saw her girlfriend is calling.

"Sure." Alex said with a tight-lipped smile.

"Hey, are you done at the cafe?" Yoko asked as she answered the call.

"Yeah, I'll be heading home now, do you want me to bring anything on my way?"

"No, I'm actually at the other cafe." Yoko said glancing at Alex.

"With who?"

"Alex. You wanna join?"

"Do you want me to join?"

"No, you know what I mean, right?"

"I do but why the fuck does this guy wants to meet you this much?" Faye asked, irritation etched in her voice.

"I don't know, I think you have to ask him yourself."

"Oh, you don't know what else I would've done by now if he wasn't dad's friend's son."

Yoko sighed before speaking, "I know, so are you?"

"Coming?"

"Yes, what else?"

"I'm on my way."

"Why are you still on the call? Ride safely, see you soon, bye." Yoko said and ended the call.

"This guy is really getting on my nerves now." Faye muttered under her breath as she accelerated the bike.

Flashback

"How was your exam, baby?" Yoko asked as they were walking to the parking lot with their friends.

"It was good, how was yours?" Faye asked as she draped an arm over Yoko's shoulder.

"It was great, I loved it, the questions." Yoko said sarcastically.

"Oh yes, we almost cried at how beautiful the questions were." Lyn said joining in the conversation.

"Oh, it seems you had a great time in the exam hall today." Faye said chuckling at their exaggeration.

"Faye, the helmets." Sam called out as he reached his car and Faye moved to get them.

"Do you think we'll pass?" Yoko asked Lyn.

"I don't know, I-" Lyn was cut off as someone called Yoko, they turned around to see a guy walking towards them.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Yoko muttered under her breath.

"Who is he?" Lyn asked raising an eyebrow.

"I'll tell you later, you go." Yoko said before turning to Alex.

"Okay, take care." Lyn said and left.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Yoko asked smiling awkwardly.

"I came here to do some work and thought I should drop you home since I brought my car." Alex said smiling.

"Oh, how did you know I had exam today?" Yoko asked raising an eyebrow.

"I checked on the notice." Alex said quickly.

That's a lie, Yoko thought.

"It's very nice of you that you waited but I'm going somewhere with my friends."

"Oh, I can drop you wherever you're going." Alex offered.

"You don't have to, I'm going in that." Yoko said pointing at Faye's bike.
