Taylor put out a red plate on the coffee table, laid out with cookies and chopped carrots and a glass of milk sitting in the middle. "Okay. Santas cookies are out. That means bedtime." She told the girls.

"Wen Sana come?" Mal asked, looking up excitedly.

"Tomorrow. So when we go up to bed we will put your stockings on the end of the bed then when you wake up it will be full of presents. You have to be asleep though or he won't come." Taylor told her.

"I jus gon get coal." Harper mumbled, heading off up to bed. "No you not. Sana no do that. You gonna get pwesents," Mal replied with a smile, also following up the stairs for bed. Evie doing the same.

Harper rolled her eyes. "I got coal last year." She told Mal. Climbing into her bed and throwing her stocking on the floor. She watched Taylor tuck Mal in and huffed.

Mal cuddled up with her dragon and looked up at Taylor with puppy dog eyes. "Pomise Sana come?" Mal asked softly.

"Of course he's coming. Only if you're asleep though." She told Mal. Mal smiled excitedly. "Yay! He nebew come before. He away skip us," Mal told her, cuddling up more with her dragon and placing her pacifier back in her mouth before closing her eyes. Taylor smiled sadly.

Harper just lay down in her bed, her stocking scrunched up on the floor and tears in her eyes as she looked up at Taylor walking over to her.

Taylor carefully picked up the stocking placing it where it was supposed to be. "It's okay he's going to come I promise. Things are different this year," Taylor told her in a gentle voice.

Harper's bottom lip quivered as she kicked the stocking off the bed again. "He hates me. Jus leave me alone." She told Taylor.

"He doesn't hate you. That wasn't Santa. I promise he's going to come and you're going to get presents this year," Taylor replied, picking her up and holding her close. Harper wriggled her way down and got in bed, turning away from Taylor.

"Go away." She huffed. Taylor sighed, kissing her forehead before leaving the room. Harper cried herself to sleep.

Taylor and Travis got everything sorted downstairs and put ribbon across the stairs so that the girls couldn't sneak down without them. They also filled up the stockings and placed them on the end of the girls beds then headed to bed themselves.

Mal woke up early the next morning holding onto the side and jumping up and down excitedly in her crib. For the first time ever she was actually having Christmas and she couldn't wait. "It Cwimas!" Mal squealed out. Harper groaned and rolled over, covering her ears.

Taylor came into the room and smiled at Mal. "Good morning!" Mal giggled, still jumping up and down with her little legs. "It Cwimas mama!" Mal replied happily.

"It is! And it looks like Santa came." Taylor told her, helping her out.

"You get Evie up and I'll get Harper then we can all run in and wake daddy up and open some presents." Taylor told her excitedly.

Mal giggled and nodded. "Yay Sana finawy came!" She exclaimed full of joy, toddling off as fast as her little legs would let her to Evie's room to get her up. She couldn't believe Santa had actually come for the first time ever in her little life. Santa had always skipped them before. Their mom had told them they didn't deserve Christmas and that Santa didn't care about them. Mal had always believed that until now.

Taylor headed over to Harper's bed who was looking at her with sad eyes. Taylor smiled warmly at her. "Good Morning, baby. It's Christmas, do you wanna see what Santa brought you," Taylor told her in her excited voice.
