Start writing your story "I know, baby, I can tell. Do you want to tell me why?" Taylor whispered. Harper just cried even worse and shrugged. She was so hungry and she knew everyone at the table was watching her.
"Do you want some Snuggie milk," Taylor asked her. Harper shrugged and pointed to the table. "Do you want to sit back in your high chair again?" Taylor asked her again. Harper shook her head and cried still.
"It's okay baby. Do you want some time upstairs we can have your Snuggie milk." Taylor asked her. Harper just shook her head and kept crying, climbing down and walking over to sit with Andrea while everyone finished their food.
Taylor sighed again, deciding to not keep pushing. Once food was done Harper found a corner in the room to just sit alone and watch everyone socialise.
Taylor carefully made her way over, gently picking her up. Harper frowned a little and held her blankie closer, sucking on her pacifier.
Taylor rocked her a little bit and rubbed her back. Harper just cried and looked down. . "What's wrong baby?" Taylor whispered to her in a soft voice. Harper cried even more and just rubbed her eyes a little.
"Are you sleepy?" Taylor asked her, rubbing her back still. Harper cried even more and just didn't reply.
Taylor held her closer and hummed a little bit. "It's okay baby," she whispered. "I want new home. With new family." Harper admitted.
Taylor held her closer again. "We're always going to be your family. You're our baby and nothing will change that. We love you too much to let you go to another family," Taylor told her in a soft voice. Harper shook her head.
"I want to. Please." She told Taylor. "You're our baby. You're not going anywhere. We're family and family is forever," Taylor told her in a gentle voice.
Harper cried even more and anxiously fidgeted with the end of her skirt while looking down. "I- I feeling... I feeling hmmph. I feeling vewy left out." Harper mumbled hesitantly before tensing and leaning back a little, waiting to be yelled at.
"It's okay baby I'm not going to hurt you. I would never hurt you. Do you wanna tell me why you're feeling left out?" Taylor told her in a gentle voice. Harper turned around and pointed to Mal and Evie.
"Because they close. And I supposed be that close with you. Not anymore though. And they get more time wif you and it weird playing wif them because they just wan play together." Harper told her.
Taylor looked over before holding her closer again. "I know it's hard that they're so close. They've only really had each other before coming here so it's harder for them to do things separately but things are better now and they don't just have each other anymore. Do you want to try some time with them separately? We can try to do something fun with just Mal and then something with just Evie another time. That way we can have some more bonding time with each of them separately," Taylor suggested. Harper shrugged but nodded a little.
"But you." Harper whispered. "You not close with me anymore. Just them." She replied. She yawned a little and her small tummy growled at how little she had been eating over the past couple months and she immediately looked down, rubbing her eyes.
"I'll always be close with you. You're my baby, nothing will change that. I know it's hard to share but we're family and no matter what we always will be close. I love you so much. Do you want to try the bonding thing? It might help you feel better and more included," Taylor reassured her, brushing some hair out of her face and kissing the top of her head.
"Mhm." Harper replied. Taylor smiled and rocked her again. "Let's try that. Are you still sleepy? How about we have some Snuggie milk and then bedtime?" Taylor asked her in a gentle voice.
