Colin and I had spent over half a day learning songs together and finding our flow. When we got back to the others they were learning to climb on one of the small cliffs.

I of course knew danish but every now and then there would still be several words I'd forget what they meant since our mother first started teaching us real danish when we got here a year ago. I knew they were talking about me, I just couldn't remember enough words to know what they said.
"Look! It's a bitch who thinks hating on others makes them cool" -Freya
"What did they say?" -Scarlet
"They pointed and said something along the lines of 'it's the girl the got mad at her new friends and then sang with them'" -Colin
"Wait, Scarlet, you don't know danish? How? You're speaking it?" -Rico
"I've lived in America my whole life up till one year ago" -Scarlet
"Then why did you move to Denmark?" -Rico
"Yeah if you're not from here then there's no way you'd just move here... unless one of your parents are Danish" -Andrew
"Yeah my mom's danish, we moved here because she wanted to be closer to her nationality and my dad loves to travel so it was good to him" -Scarlet
"If your mom is Danish then why don't you know more danish?" -Girl 1
"Maybe because it wasn't needed in America?" -Scarlet
"Let me guess, you were so sad that you had to leave America and your cheerleading squad that you cried to your parents to let you stay there?" -Girl 1
"I wasn't a part of the cheerleading squad" -Scarlet
"I can see why, you aren't exactly cheer material, maybe chess club?" -Girl 2
"No, but I can see why you'd go alone to prom" -Scarlet
"Omg Sandra, she did not just say that to you!" -Girl 3
"You little-" -Sandra (Girl 2)
"-Bitch" -Sally (Girl 1)
"Look who's talking" -Freya
"Ugh, shut up!" -Sandra
"I might actually agree with Scar on this, no guy would take you to prom" -Colin
"I think I would rather go alone" -Andrew
"Well it's not like a girl would say yes to you anyways" -Sally
"That's it, dont you fucking say that to my friend. More girls would go with him than be friends with you" -Rico
"What no! Everyone wants to be friends with me!" -Sally
"Yeah, anyone would be happy to hang out with us" -Sandra
"Not really, I think it would be a punishment for anyone that comes near" -Freya
"Well at last the friends I have I wont lose over a guy you met the day before" -Sandra
"What-?" -Andrew, Colin & Rico
"Shut up" -Freya
"They don't know?" -Sally
"Stop it, now" -Scarlet
"You haven't told them yet?" -Sally
"What is there to tell?" -Freya
"Yeah, we'd actually like to know that too" -Colin
"What haven't you told us?" -Andrew
They were nearing a dangerous area of this conversation, if those girls said just a tiny detail more, or if the guys realized what they had started saying, it would be over for Freya. I could see the fear through her words, they might sound mean and annoyed but it was clear that she feared if the guys knew and I could understand her. If I liked a guy I wouldn't want him to know like that.
"It's nothing, they just wants to make chaos" -Scarlet
"Don't even get us started on you, the songs, the need of a new bo-" -Sandra
"Stop!" -Freya
"What are you not telling us?!" -Colin
"Nothing! They're just trying to make drama!" -Scarlet
"Hey! What is going on?" -Ms. Madden
