This has got to be the most confusing trip I've ever been on. Got some new friends, got in an argument with them, forgave them, then got in an argument with my best friend, made up with her, got back in an argument with the new friends and now we're all friends again.
Even though we just made up, it still feels a bit awkward to hang out with them. We kept on with the different activities, having fun, rebuilding our friendship.

After a whole day of doing activities, all we wanted was to chill, and that was exactly what we did. Most of the people with the leisure club were sitting gathered around the campfire.
"Doesn't anyone have an instrument with them to play something?" -Ms. Madden
"Uh yeah, I have my guitar" -Colin
"And I have my small piano" -Scarlet
Ms. Madden nodded for us to find something to play together.
"So what songs can you even play on that little thing?" -Colin
"You'd be surprised, start a song and I'll play" –Scarlet
He seems a bit like he's underestimating me and then continues to find a song. I can see a slight spark in his eye as he was trying to find a song that I wouldn't be able to play.
"Okay found one" -Colin
He starts to play a song on his guitar, and I immediately know the song. Shallow.
"Tell me something, girl
Are you happy in this modern world?
Or do you need more?
Is there something else you're searching for?" -Colin
He looks slightly surprised when I begin to play on my mini piano as well, to match his singing, both hands.
"I'm falling

In the little middle play he looks at me, almost as if he's sure I wouldn't be able to sing it.
"Tell me something, boy
Aren't you tired trying to fill that void?
Or do you need more?
Ain't it hard keeping it so hardcore?

I noticed something, not much but just a hint of a smile appeared on Colins face. And then, a little mischief creeped up on his smile, I knew why. It was because it was time for the higher notes, he was waiting for me to fail. But I was gonna prove him wrong.
"I'm off the deep end, watch as I dive in
I'll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us

And Just as I wanted, I proved him wrong, I sang the notes perfectly.

All the mischief, all the weird looks from his face disappeared. He just...smiled. A genuine normal happy smile. I couldn't help smiling back, the campfire, the darkness around us, his stupid genuine smile, it made me happy.

Our look at each other and the sparks in our eyes were interrupted by the leisure club cheering on us. This camp tour was definitely back on track now, and in some way I felt...closer to Colin? It didn't make sense but it was fine, as long as we could keep these moments, everything would be fine.
We sat again, everybody chatting now.
Not much time passed before I got tired and began to walk over to the tent where Freya already would be sitting.
"So you and Colin?" -Freya
"What? Colin and I are what?" -Scarlet
"Oh come on scar, I both heard and saw the way you guys were together. You can't hide it" -Freya
"You must've been hallucinating cause nothing is going on between me and Colin" -Scarlet
"I, as your best friend, do not believe you. You can not deny that you looked each other deep in your eyes and sang a duet together" -Freya
"We didn't look any special way at each other, now I'm going to sleep because you're impossible to convince" -Scarlet
