Chapter 11.

Everything had been too much at once, Freya was mad at me, Colin was mad at me, not sure if Rico was too. I couldn't deal with this, how could I fix this? Oh how I wish we were still on the ship in the guys room playing, it was all so easy back there. How was I supposed to fix something with my best friend and possibly two boys? This was not what Freya and I had imagined for our vacation to go, this was supposed to be fun, swimming in lakes, climbing trees and all that fun kind of stuff.

I looked around, first I had to make things right with my best friend, I don't know how, but it would be a start.

Right, it makes sense, of course she was sitting by the lake. The place we had planned to swim and paddle board.

I didn't really have a plan on what to do, but I knew that I had to do something. We had always connected over music, rhythm and that kind of stuff, we even made our own little two part whistle. 'Yes, that's it, the whistle' I thought to myself. I whistled the first part in hope of her response to it, maybe she would be reminded how good friends we've always been.

It took a little while and I was beginning to doubt her even going to respond to it, but then, there it was, the second part of the whistle. It turned quiet again after that.

"I'm not gonna forgive you for a whistle" -Freya

I already knew that, but she wouldn't have responded if she didn't think we would be friends again. How do I make her accept my apology? Asking her for forgiveness sure wasn't gonna do the trick for this, we both know that we shouldn't apologize for having our own thoughts, but in some way I felt like I had to anyway. I mean I know that I stepped over the line but still. We had been friends for so long, from the day we shared our music interest and for the 'Friends' tv show-

When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month

Or even your year, but" -Scarlet sings

It was the 'Friends' theme song, I sang it in the biggest hope that she could continue it, sing it with me.

"I'll be there for you" -Scarlet sings

"When the rain starts to pour" -Freya sings

Yes! Lets gooooo, the friendship's back.

"I'll be there for you" -Scarlet sings

"Like I've been there before" -Freya sings

"I'll be there for you" -Scarlet sings

"'Cause you're there for me too" -Freya sings

"You're still in bed at ten

And work began at eight

You've burned your breakfast

So far, things are going great

Your mother warned you there'd be days like these

But she didn't tell you when the world has brought

You down to your knees that" -Freya and Scarlet sings

We stop the singing as we start laughing at our attempt to sing the 'friends' theme song, we couldn't even remember half the lyrics.

"Sooo, do you still hate me?" -Scarlet

"Do you think you crossed the line?" -Freya

"Yes, Freya I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to cross the line or to make it about who you like" -Scarlet

"Then you're forgiven" -Freya

I jump on her with joy, hugging her tightly. The camp trip was saved, our friendship was saved. Now all I had to do was fix everything between us and the guys, then all will be good.

"Jesus Scar, are you trying to choke me?" -Freya

"No, just showing you that you aint getting away from me again" -Scarlet

I let her go from the hug again, both of us smiling big.

"I saw you talking to the guys, did yall become friends again?" -Freya

"Not exactly" -Scarlet

"How so?" -Freya

"Colin got kinda mad that I explained why you were mad so vaguely, and he stormed off" -Scarlet

"Why didn't you explain further?" -Freya

"Didn't wanna tell them who you like" -Scarlet
