'How do I make the boys stop hating me?' That's the question I've been asking myself the last two days, or I mean, when I got here yesterday. When our trip started yesterday I didn't expect to make new friends so quickly, and also to lose them even quicker.
Freya and I had spent yesterday unpacking and talking about the whole thing, including how to make friends with the boys again. All we came up with was 'I'm sorry I made such a big reaction out of it' and 'I'm sorry I didn't explain what was going on', and neither of us thought that was some good apologies.

When we woke up today we were quick to get dressed, so we could be the first in the breakfast line.
Damn, how bad has this trip been, already on the second day and lost some friendships.
As we sat down at one of the tables, we were still discussing how to say sorry to them. When we had gotten really tired last night we wondered if we even should apologize, which now sounds very bad.
"What about 'We're sorry we overreacted so much, we didn't mean to, we just wanted to hang out with you guys' that's good, right?" -Freya
"Eh, sounds like we're insulted by how they reacted to our reaction" -Scarlet
"You think so?" -Freya
"Yeah" -Scarlet
"Well then what are we supposed to say? 'I wish we had never promised to sit together, so we wouldn't be mad at each other'?" -Freya
"Wait that's actually really good" -Scarlet
"Really?" -Freya
"No, that's terrible, we can't say that" -Scarlet
"Then you try to find a good way to say sorry" -Freya
"It shouldn't be so hard, what about 'We're really sorry about everything, our reaction, and it all. We were just a bit hurt about the promise and stuff, can you guys forgive us?'" -Scarlet
"Yeah no way I'm saying that" -Freya
"What? Why? It was a good one" -Scarlet
"No, it sounded like you didn't believe our reaction was wrong, more like you thought it's all their fault" -Freya
Without us noticing the guys had walked passed behind us, and most likely had heard the last bit.
"'It's all their fault'? Seriously? That's what you two think?" -Colin
"What? No! Why would you even think that?" -Freya
"You just said it yourself" -Rico
I could see the way Freya broke when she saw Rico mad at her, I felt bad for her. The guy she likes thinks she talked shit about them.
"That's not what I meant" -Freya
"Oh really?" -Rico
"Please give us a chance to explain, it's not what you think it is" -Scarlet
"So it's not you guys saying it's our fault?" -Andrew
"Well..." -Scarlet
"Well, what? Is it true you said it or not?" -Colin
"Yes I did say that but you only heard the last part of the sentence, you didn't hear-" -Freya
"Just forget it" -Andrew
"No no, please, just let us explain it" -Freya
"And I thought it was us that were shitty new friends" -Rico
