The news of Jungkook’s pregnancy spread quickly to both families, sparking a wave of excitement and joy. Taehyung and Jungkook decided to invite their parents to the palace to share the happiness together. When the two couples arrived, they were greeted with smiles and warm embraces, though neither family knew yet what the special occasion was.

Once everyone was seated in the grand hall, Taehyung stood, holding Jungkook’s hand tightly. “We have some wonderful news to share,” he began, his deep voice carrying a rare gentleness.

Jungkook blushed, his eyes sparkling as he looked around. “I’m pregnant,” he said, his voice soft but filled with emotion.

The room fell silent for a moment before Mrs. Jeon practically leaped out of her chair.

“My baby is having a baby!” she cried, her hands clasped together in delight. She rushed to Jungkook’s side, pulling him into a tight hug. “I can’t believe this! You’ve made me the happiest woman alive!”

Mr. Jeon chuckled, patting his wife’s shoulder. “Calm down, dear. Let the boy breathe.”

Mrs. Kim, Taehyung’s mother, had tears in her eyes as she walked over to hug both her son and Jungkook. “This is such a blessing,” she said softly, her voice trembling with emotion. “You’ve brought so much joy to this family.”

Mr. Kim, on the other hand, had a wide grin on his face. “Finally! A grandchild who’ll carry on the Kim legacy. Well done, son,” he said, clapping Taehyung on the back.

Taehyung gave a small, proud smile but kept his focus on Jungkook, who was still being smothered by his mother. “Mother, I think you should let him sit before he faints,” he teased.

“Oh, hush, Taehyung,” Mrs. Jeon said, waving him off. She turned back to Jungkook. “Tell me, my darling, how are you feeling? Are you eating enough? Sleeping enough? Is Taehyung taking proper care of you? Because if he’s not, I’ll have a word with him.”

Jungkook laughed, his nervousness melting away. “I’m fine, Mother. Really. Taehyung has been wonderful.”

Mrs. Jeon narrowed her eyes playfully at Taehyung. “He better be. Otherwise, I’ll drag him by the ear.”

Mr. Kim couldn’t help but laugh. “Looks like you’ve got your hands full, son.”

Amid the lighthearted banter, the emotions began to overflow. Mrs. Kim took Jungkook’s hand in hers, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. “You’ve made this family complete, Jungkook. I can’t thank you enough.”

Jungkook’s voice cracked slightly as he replied, “I’m just happy to be a part of this family.”

The conversation continued with a mix of laughter and tears.

“Oh, we need to plan the nursery!” Mrs. Jeon exclaimed suddenly, clapping her hands together. “It must be perfect. Maybe in soft greens or yellows. And we’ll need to knit baby clothes!”

Mrs. Kim nodded enthusiastically. “I’ll commission the best artisans for the crib. Only the finest for my grandchild.”

Taehyung leaned over to Jungkook, whispering, “I think we’ve created a monster.”

Jungkook giggled, nudging him playfully. “Two monsters, actually.”

The men joined in on the planning, albeit in their own way.

“I’ll teach the child swordsmanship,” Mr. Kim declared, puffing out his chest.

“Don’t forget diplomacy,” Mr. Jeon added. “The heir needs to be wise, not just strong.”

Taehyung shook his head, a rare smile tugging at his lips. “The baby isn’t even born yet, and you’re already planning their future.”

“That’s what grandparents do,” Mr. Jeon said with a wink.

As the day wore on, the families shared stories, dreams, and hopes for the future. Jungkook, though overwhelmed at first, felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and belonging.

Later that evening, as everyone began to settle down, Mrs. Jeon pulled Jungkook aside.

“You’re going to be a wonderful parent,” she said, her voice thick with emotion.

Jungkook blinked back tears. “I hope so. Sometimes, I feel like I have so much to learn.”

Mrs. Jeon smiled, cupping his face gently. “You’ll learn as you go. And you have Taehyung. The two of you will make an amazing team. And remember, we’re always here for you.”

Jungkook nodded, his heart swelling with gratitude.

As the families departed the next day, leaving the palace quieter but no less joyful, Taehyung and Jungkook stood on the balcony, watching the sunset.

“Did you ever think we’d be here?” Jungkook asked softly, leaning into Taehyung’s side.

Taehyung wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close. “No,” he admitted. “But I’m glad we are.”

They stood there in comfortable silence, the future stretching out before them like the endless horizon, filled with possibilities and the promise of a new beginning.
