The night was quiet, but the air in the royal palace was thick with anticipation. Jungkook’s labor had begun at dawn, and by midnight, the palace walls seemed to tremble with the prayers and hopes of everyone awaiting the birth of the heir.

Taehyung was by Jungkook’s side the entire time, his hand never leaving his mate’s. His normally calm demeanor was replaced by a mix of nervousness and overwhelming love as he whispered reassurances.

“You’re doing so well, Jungkook,” Taehyung murmured, brushing damp strands of hair from the omega’s forehead.

Jungkook’s grip on Taehyung’s hand tightened as another contraction hit. “If you tell me to breathe one more time, I swear, Taehyung...”

Despite the pain, the alpha chuckled softly, kissing his mate’s knuckles. “I’ll stay quiet.”

Finally, as the first rays of dawn pierced through the curtains, the cry of a newborn filled the room.

“It’s a boy!” the royal midwife announced, holding up the baby.

The room seemed to glow with an ethereal light as the child was placed in Jungkook’s arms. The baby, tiny yet commanding, had a presence that silenced everyone.

As soon as Jungkook cradled his son, the royal pin, which had been kept in the nursery as a symbol of protection, began to glow brightly. Its light filled the room, casting shadows and patterns on the walls, as if the heavens themselves had taken notice.

Everyone watched in awe as the pin floated into the air, spinning slowly. Then, as if its purpose had been fulfilled, it dissolved into shimmering particles that vanished into the air.

“The royal pin…” Taehyung whispered, his voice trembling. “It’s gone.”

The midwife, still holding the ceremonial cloths, knelt instinctively. “The prophecy,” she murmured. “The child of light has been born.”

Jungkook, though exhausted, smiled down at his son. “Kim Haneul,” he whispered. “Our little sky.”

From the moment of his birth, it was clear that Kim Haneul was no ordinary child. His eyes, a deep shade of gold flecked with silver, seemed to hold the wisdom of generations.

As he grew, small displays of power began to manifest. At three months old, flowers in the royal garden bloomed brighter whenever he was near. By six months, he could calm storms with a mere coo.

“He’s not just powerful,” Taehyung observed one evening as he and Jungkook watched Haneul sleep. “He’s a symbol of hope. A bridge between kingdoms, between worlds.”

Jungkook smiled, leaning against his husband. “And he’s ours.”

The news of Kim Haneul’s birth spread quickly, and celebrations erupted across Utopia.

In Liancheng, Jungkook’s parents hosted a grand festival, inviting citizens from every corner of the kingdom. Mrs. Jeon, proud beyond measure, held little Haneul for hours, marveling at how he never cried and seemed to radiate warmth.

Taehyung’s parents, equally proud, organized a ceremony in the palace gardens. “This child will unite our people,” Mrs. Kim declared. “He will be the greatest ruler Utopia has ever known.”

The citizens, seeing the glowing child in Jungkook’s arms and the proud Taehyung standing beside him, felt a renewed sense of hope.

Years later, the story of the royal pin was still told in whispers. Many believed that the pin had sacrificed itself to ensure Haneul’s safe arrival. Scholars and mystics wrote endlessly about the child destined to change the world.

But for Taehyung and Jungkook, their son was more than a prophecy. He was their greatest joy, the embodiment of their love.

One evening, as the family sat in the garden, Haneul toddled around, his small hands reaching for fireflies that seemed drawn to him. Jungkook leaned into Taehyung, his head resting on the alpha’s shoulder.

“Do you think he’ll ever understand how special he is?” Jungkook asked softly.

Taehyung smiled, pressing a kiss to Jungkook’s temple. “He doesn’t need to. He’s surrounded by love. That’s all that matters.”

Jungkook looked at his husband, his eyes shimmering. “You’ve given me everything I ever dreamed of, Taehyung.”

Taehyung’s hand found Jungkook’s, their fingers intertwining. “And you’ve given me a family. You’ve made me whole.”

As the stars blinked down from the heavens, the Kim family sat together, their love a beacon of light in a world forever changed by the arrival of their extraordinary son.
