°Dante.

Anaya is crying, and she's not about to stop. She's the most sensitive of all of us so her crying is pretty normal.

What isn't normal is Ivy going completely silent and not say a single word to anyone, especially us but mostly Anaya.

We're at last and she's just sitting there, zoned out. It's like there's nothing around her, she's in a completely different universe. It's a free period.

It's not hard to notice her puffy eyes and eye bags. She looks completely broken.

School is almost over and she hasn't spoken a single word o any of us. It's like she isn't here at all.

"Ivy." Xavier calls out, but it's like she didn't even hear him, it's like she's a robot on autopilot.

Xavier passes me a vape from under the table, he's sat on Ivy's right and I'm on her right.

My hand brushes against her left one when I pulled my hand back after taking the vape and she flinched back to reality.

It's like multiple electric charges went through her body and she comes back to reality, finally realizing what's going on.

Her eyes flicker through all of us in panic and when she realizes everyone is here her eyes stop and her body relaxes.

"Ivy?" Anaya calls with a slightly trembling voice.

"Yeah, what's up?" She replies in a soft voice, her leg bouncing under the table.

"Are you ok?" Liv asks, concern lacing her tone.

"Yea, why?" She replies and Anaya just shakes her head muttering a "nothing."

Xavier quickly diverts the conversation, taking the attention off of Ivy.

My eyes stay on her though, her leg kept on bouncing and her eyes stray to the space in between Anaya and Olivia.

She's about to do it again.

My hand goes to her thigh and I squeeze it lightly, bringing her back to focus.

I subtly slide her chair closer to mine, she looks shocked for a second before regaining her composure.

"Whats wrong?" I whisper and she just shakes her head, dismissing the issue.

"Can I ride with you afterschool?" She asks quietly and I hesitate.

I've never let any girl in my car.

Before I could reply she laid her head on the table, falling asleep a few seconds later.

The final bell of the day rings and mostly everyone clears out of the VA class.

I give Xavier her schoolbag before scooping up Ivy into my arms. How many hours of sleep did she lose last night? She never sleeps this deep during the day.

Everyone else who was still in the hallways froze when I came out of the class carrying Ivy.

Yes idiots, I'm totally kidnapping her. Nosey fucks.

I glare at every single one of them causing them to instantly look away.

When we get outside the stares just increase cause apparently these idiots prefer to stare at me carrying my sleeping best friend rather than go home.

When I get to my car I take our my car keys using one of my hands while still carrying her.

I open the passanger seat and put her in it and also putting on the seat belt. I take her car keys from her front pocket. When I close the door I turn to Xavier who's looking at me with a knowing smile.
