He was getting closer and I was numb to his stare.
One step and my breath hitches. Another and my eyes widen. One more and I don't have the ability to speak.
By now our bodies were territorially close. His breath was warm.
Not once did we loose eye contact. Those big brown eyes were burning into me and I did nothing. I didn't want to shield my eyes from his. I needed to let him see.
Most importantly, i need to see.
His warm hand touched my cold cheek.
His touch sent shots of fire through out my body.
My blood was boiling, but not in a bad way.
His touch finally gave me life.
I was no longer the dull, dark, secretive girl.
My electric blue eyes followed his chocolate brown ones. Mine had followed him to his lips. Then eyes.
My room was dark, barely being lit by my Christmas lights. The room was silent.
This moment was intense.
We were having a conversation through silence. And we were speaking with our eyes.
I closed my eyes and a tear had slipped out. It was making its way down to the ground, but was stopped.
His thumb wiped the tear away, and his lips finally met mine. Perfectly in sync.
He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine.
We stood like this for what seemed like eternity.
I didn't mind because for once in a very long time, I felt Like my world was finally coming together.
