Jeonghan, after what felt like an eternity of chaotic noise and confusion, finally delivered a healthy baby boy. The room, which had been a battleground of emotions and banter, suddenly quieted as the newborn’s first cry filled the space. Jeonghan, still sweating but beaming, cradled the little bundle in his arms.

“Soobin,” Jeonghan whispered, his eyes shining with love as he looked at his son. “Welcome to the world, little guy.”

The group, exhausted from the madness of the day, now stood around Jeonghan’s bed. Seungcheol, looking like he had just run a marathon, gave Jeonghan an exhausted but proud look. “You did it, Hannie,” he said, his voice thick with emotion, patting Jeonghan’s shoulder as though he himself had just won a race.

Meanwhile, Jisoo—who had been sulking for most of the day after his proposal moment was stolen by Jeonghan’s water breaking—was now entirely mesmerized by his new nephew. His usual sarcasm was nowhere to be found. Jisoo leaned over the crib, cooing at Soobin, his expression completely soft. “Soobin, huh? Not bad, kid. You’re a superstar already,” he said, his voice so tender it almost made the others question if this was the same Jisoo who had been grumbling just hours ago.

Jeonghan, despite his exhaustion, couldn’t resist teasing. “You were just complaining about your ruined proposal, and now you’re all gooey over the baby. Real smooth, Jisoo.”

Jisoo shot a playful glare at his twin, but his face softened when he looked at Soobin again. “What can I say? I’m a sucker for cute things,” he muttered, practically melting as he gently stroked the baby’s little hand.

Soonyoung, who had been observing the whole interaction from the corner of the room, whispered to Jihoon, “Do you think Jisoo's gonna start acting like he’s the father now? This is how it starts.”

Jihoon, trying to keep his cool amidst all the chaos, shook his head in disbelief. “Let him have his moment, Soonyoung. But if he starts baby-talking the kid like you did, I might just leave.”

Jisoo, who had completely tuned out the conversation around him, continued making ridiculous cooing sounds at Soobin. “Look at you, little troublemaker. You’re going to have me wrapped around your finger in no time, I can already tell.”

Jeonghan, unable to resist, chuckled lightly. “You might want to get your proposal out of the way first, Jisoo. It’s not every day your twin brother steals the spotlight.”

Jisoo shot Jeonghan an exaggerated glare but couldn’t hold back his grin. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. But seriously, can we just pretend this day didn’t happen? At least for a minute?”

Seokmin, who had been silently watching the whole drama unfold and clearly exhausted from the chaos earlier, pulled out the ring from his pocket. He sighed deeply, now determined to finish what he had started earlier. “Alright, Jisoo, despite everything… will you—”

“Nope. Not here. Not in this hospital,” Jihoon interjected immediately. “Can we at least wait until we’re not in the middle of a maternity ward?”

Jisoo pouted, crossing his arms dramatically. “Seriously, Jihoon? This is my moment too, you know.”

Soonyoung, who had been watching all of this with a grin, gave Jihoon a knowing look. “Nope, that’s what happens when you try to propose during Jeonghan’s labor. You get a hospital waiting room proposal.”

Jisoo, his earlier frustration now turned to amusement, leaned in toward Seokmin, still holding the ring. “Guess I’ll wait for that proposal. But the moment I’m home, you’re officially getting a dramatic ‘yes’ from me,” he said, smirking at Jeonghan.

As the chaos finally wound down, everyone slowly started to settle, with Mingyu pulling out his phone to continue his recording of the chaos he had captured. “This is pure white gold,” he said, holding the phone out for the group. “I’m never deleting this.”

As they all left the room to give Jeonghan and the baby some rest, Jisoo—who was still cooing at Soobin—whispered, “Don’t worry, Soobin. I’ll make sure your uncle’s proposal goes off without a hitch. But first, I need a few more moments with you... my adorable little sidekick.”

Seungcheol rolled his eyes but smiled at his twin brother. “You’re lucky you’re so good with the kid, Jisoo. Otherwise, I might have to steal that spotlight from you next.”

Jisoo just winked, looking down at the tiny newborn in his arms. “You’ll have to fight me for it, Seungcheol. But for now, I’m content to let Soobin have his moment with his parents.”

The room, which had once been chaos, was now filled with nothing but laughter and love, even as Jisoo promised in his own, playful way to get his proposal moment—eventually.
