My conversation with Owen lasted all day. He really listened and let me talk. I realized it was everything I saw that had scared me. And there wasn't a great way to fix that. But talking about it really helped. I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders when I finished.

By that night, I was ready to go to sleep and see if it really did help. I was pulling out the hair band from my hair when Owen knocked and came in. "Hey, I'm right across the hall if you need me, okay?" He reassured. I nodded. "Alright, G'night." And he walked back out the way he came.

"Night, Owen." I headed towards my soft bed and collapsed in it. Then I turned off the lamp and tried to think of good things as I drifted off to sleep.

Then the sceneary changed when my eyes shut. Just like it had been. I was back in the old garage where Zach and Gray had fixed up that old car. It was silent. I heard the ground rumble, like an earthquake. And then heavy breathing took place from outside. A large white mouth I was very familiar with rounded that corner and my heart stopped. Her eyes came into view and I felt my self sitting up.

I looked around and I was back in my room. I wasn't screaming so that's a start and the nightmare wasn't as scary as the others were. I looked over at the clock. It was 3 AM. Waking Owen seemed pointless and wrong. I wasn't as tramatized as I was last night but I was still scared to fall back asleep. My legs swung over and onto the floor where I carried myself into the living room.

It was dark, but I found the couch. I didn't feel like turning on the TV or making myself coffee. I just wanted to sit and wait until the sun came up. I layed down every once in a while, but never shut my eyes. Time passed quickly. Not sure how, but it did. I heard footsteps coming down the hall, it was still dark outside. I checked the clock and it had been an hour and a half. I turned my head in the directionand saw Owen, very groggily, stepped in. He didn't notice me until a minute of standing there, it seemed.

"Jess?" He asked in surprise. "Kid, what are you doing?" He asked rubbing his eyes.

"Thinking." I told him.

"At 4:30? How long have you been up?" Owen asked crossing over to me on the couch.

"About an hour and a half." I replied simply. He sighed.

"I didn't hear you wake up." Owen said, unsure about it.

"I was quiet." I replied. With Owen awake, I could make coffee and not have to worry about the noise. I got up and made my way into the kitchen. I heard Owen following behind me.

"Make me some coffee too, Jess!" He lightly shouted from the couch. A bit taken back, I pulled out two mugs and prepared the coffee.

I woke up to a bright light shining in my eyes. They opened, and I saw the sun. I was on the couch. This morning was like a blur, I was so tired, I can't remember how I got here.

I sat up, and noticed a woven blanket across me. And I knew I didn't do this.

Owen came strolling, sort of cheerful.

"What's up with you?" I questioned, suspiciously. He turned to face me.

"I have plans." He's decided to be secretive. Which only made me curiouser.

"What are they?" I asked hopping into the stool on the island. He slightly squinted his eyes at me. Before giving in.

"Claire and I are going out." He informed me like it was something boring and normal.

"Out? Like, on a date- out?" I clarified, smirking at Owen. He rolled his eyes.

"Sure, Jess. Like a date- out." Owen crossed over the island where I was sitting and to the door where his keys were on a hook.
