2nd Person POV
As you walk through the library, a sense of excitement fills you. The shelves are filled with countless stories by renowned novelists throughout history. From timeless classics to modern bestsellers, this place has it all.
You come across a section dedicated to books written by your favorite author, their name proudly displayed on the spines.
The titles range from fantasy adventures to gripping thrillers, each one promising an unforgettable reading experience. You begin to browse through the selection, your eyes lighting up with anticipation at the thought of diving into one of these narratives.
Scaramouche, with his usual aloofness, saunters into the library. He glances around, bored, until his eyes land on you. Without a word, he takes a seat next to you, his gaze drifting to the book in your hands.
You look up, a little taken aback by his unannounced arrival. Scaramouche is known for being aloof and rarely initiates conversations, let alone sitting near someone without any context.
After a few moments of silence, Scaramouche finally speaks up, his voice tinged with mild curiosity. "Whatcha reading?"
You glance down at the book in your hands, then back up at Scaramouche. "Just a novel by one of my favorite authors" you reply, slightly puzzled by his sudden interest.
Scaramouche nods, his expression still nonchalant. "Never took you for a bookworm," he remarks, a hint of teasing in his tone.
You raise an eyebrow, amused by his comment. "Is that so surprising?" you ask, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "What do you think I do in my free time?"
Scaramouche shrugs, feigning indifference. "Dunno. Figured you'd find something more exciting to do, like skydiving or bungee jumping" he replies, a hint of a smirk on his face.
You chuckle, his response not surprising you one bit. "Maybe I prefer the thrill of a good story over risking my life" you retort, your tone lighthearted.
Scaramouche snorts, clearly not convinced. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, bookworm." He lean back in his seat, trying to look disinterested, but there's a gleam in his eyes that belies his true curiosity.
You smirk at Scaramouche's persistent teasing and decide to offer information about yourself for a change, revealing a lesser-known fact about yourself.
"Actually, I'm not just a bookworm," you respond, a hint of playful defensiveness in your voice. "I also spend quite a bit of time creating art."
Scaramouche's eyebrows rise in genuine surprise. "Art, huh?" he says, his tone tinged with curiosity. "I didn't think you were the artistic type. What kind of art do you do?"
You smile, enjoying the effect your revelation has had on him. "I like to sketch and paint" you reply. "Landscape, portraits, whatever inspires me at the moment."
