Adelaine was looking at the stars, she had covered herself with one of the blankets she had brought back home. She couldn't help but think about her hallucination. Her thoughts took over her head. Suddenly she was brought back into reality. "Adelaine," Bellamy's voice made her turn her head."Hm?" She said, her voice raspy from her tired state.
"I'm gonna talk to Jaha." He told the girl who gasped. "That's great!" She smiled.
Bellamy nodded. "I want you to come with me." He said, Adelaine looked slightly surprised. If anything, She thought he would want Clarke to go with him. "Yeah, of course i'll go with you Bellamy." She gave him a nod before reaching out her hand, which Bellamy interlocked their hands.
"Let's get this over with," Bellamy sighed. Adelaine led the way to the tent where everyone spoke to their parent, Adelaine had not went in that tent. She dropped his hand, putting the blanket near the tent wall before sitting down, putting the headpiece on. "Mr Blake, I've wanted to talk to you for some time now." Jaha spoke. "Adelaine, i didn't know you would be joining us."
Adelaine gave him a smile, a smile where you could tell it was fake. "Before you talk to Bellamy, i want to say something." She spoke up, making Bellamy turn to her. "When you sent us down here, you sent us to our death, let's be honest. But surprisingly most of us are still alive. In large part, that is because of him," Adelaine said, motioning to Bellamy, whose eyes stayed on the girl. Adelaine look at Bellamy. "Because of Bellamy." She gave a tight smile to Bellamy.
"He's one of us, and he deserves to be pardoned of his crimes, just like the rest of us." She finished. Jaha took a deep breath. "Adelaine, I appreciate your point of view, but it's not that simple." He told the girl, who gave him another not so genuine smile.
"It is if you want to know who on the ark wants you dead." Bellamy spoke, Adelaine turned to the boy as she saw Jaha thinking about it. She sent him a nod before turning back to Jaha, who was still looking down for a moment.
Adelaine and Bellamy side eyed each other as Jaha took his sweet time. Adelaine felt her knee bounce. Finally, Jaha had made up his mind. "Bellamy Blake, you're pardoned for your crimes."
Bellamy looked down with a smile. Adelaine smiled genuinely for the first time in that tent. "Now, tell me who gave you the gun."
After Bellamy had finished talking to Jaha, Jaha had excused them. Adelaine stood up to leave. "Wait— Adelaine." Jaha spoke.
Adelaine sighed before turning back towards the screen. She lifted up her eyebrows before dropping them. "Somebody wants to speak to you."
Adelaine tilted her head. "Who?"
Jaha stood up, Marcus Kane took his seat. Adelaine's lips parted. Adelaine turned to Bellamy who was standing next to the tent door. She nodded her head at him, saying it was okay for him to leave. He nodded before exiting out. Adelaine stood still standing by her chair, Marcus Kane still had not spoken. "Is this the quiet game or—" She said, folding her arms.
