They had soon came to realize the same noise was the first shuttle coming to the ground. It came down way too fast and the parachute didn't deploy, causing the shuttle to crash to the ground.
Clarke ran to the group to gather a team together, Bellamy not too far behind her. When they told them what happened, everyone immediately grabbed our supplies and headed out.
In the end they had Clarke, Bellamy, Adelaine, Finn, Raven, Dylan, Carter, and some of Bellamy's boys. Octavia and Jasper stayed behind.
They were now searching the wreckage, combing it carefully to make sure they didn't miss anything. Adelaine stood by Bellamy who was looking at everything with a gun in his hand. "Clarke we shouldn't be here." Finn spoke up.
Adelaine scoffed. "Her mom was on the ship, she's looking for answers." She heard Raven speak. "You wanna help her, Find me the black box, hard drives, anything that will explain why the ship crashed."
"Stay Sharp." Bellamy told the group. "Grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when."
"Can you blame them?" Finn asked.
"No, i blame you."
Finn immediately went to defend himself. "maybe if you guys didn't bring guns—"
Surprisingly it was Raven who cut him off. "If we didn't bring guns, we all would've been killed."
Finn stayed silent as he looked at his girlfriend.
Readjusting his gun, Bellamy switched topics. "Why they're coming doesn't matter anymore. It's our job to be ready when they do."
Adelaine crouched down, combing a piece of metal as she cut off the argument. "We're on our own now."
"We always were." Adelaine muttered.
"Clarke stop!" She heard Raven yell, making her snap her head up. Glancing at the wreck, She saw Clarke standing by an engine of some sort. Adelaine began speedwalking toward them. "Rocket fuel." Clarke asked Raven.
She nodded. " Hyrdazine.. highly unstable in its non solid form."
"If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist." Adelaine raised an eyebrow.
"Fire in the hole!" She said before throwing the rocking towards one of the wreckage. Instantly it blew up. Adelaine flinched.
"We need to clear the area." Raven told Bellamy.
"Okay, then." He said before telling everyone that they were going back to camp. They were leaving the rocket fuel behind for now.
Everyone followed behind Bellamy, Adelaine walking besides Dylan. The two were making little jokes, nudging one another.

Arriving back at camp, they were greeted with bad news. Apparently people have been hearing movement in the woods surrounding them.
