When Phakrach decided to travel to Chiang Rai, he promptly informed Mom Luang Pokkhet to prevent any worries. They arranged to meet at a department store.

"Let me come along too, Phak," Pokkhet requested.

"How could I allow that, Khun Khet? I'm not going for leisure."

"But I really want to come. I could also visit Khun Chat while I'm there."

"I'm not sure I'll even have a chance to meet Khun Chat. This time, I'm focused on helping my younger brother's sister, Kwan."

"Kwan?"

Pokkhket glanced at the young woman waiting nearby. Her oval-shaped face, though devoid of makeup, revealed her natural beauty.

"Let me introduce you. This is Kwanruthai, my younger sister."

"I had no idea you had a sister, Phak."

"Kwan is the daughter of Mom Luang Martee, my father's second wife."

"So, this is the woman Khun Chat mentioned, isn't it?"

Pokkhket shared the story of her elder brother with Phakrach, who was both surprised and intrigued. He hadn't imagined that Kwanruthai was the woman Chatklao had feelings for. If so, why hadn't she sought help from the Jutathep family?

"Kwan never told me about this," Phakrach said.

"I think she's probably planning to break up with Khun Chat. It's sad, isn't it? An issue from the previous generation has caused disappointment for two people who care for each other."

"But I believe that Chat's sincerity will help Kwan understand in the end. All we can do is support them from the sidelines."

"So, does this mean you're allowing me to join the trip?" Pokkhet pressed.

"What are you saying, Khun Khet? I didn't agree to that!"

Pokkhket clung to his arm playfully, her pleading eyes a tactic that had always worked.

"Please, Phak. I'm worried and want to come. I can also check on Khun Chat's residence at the hospital. I promise I won't cause any trouble for you."

"I'm not sure your family would allow it," Phakrach replied.

"Then I'll have Khun Chat talk to my mother for permission," she countered.

Phakrach shook his head and chuckled. "No matter what, I can't say no to you, can I?"

"Exactly! You're going to Chiang Rai with a beautiful woman. How could I not come?"

"But Kwan is my sister," Phakrach teased.

"Even so, I'll make sure I'm with you. After all, we've agreed to be together, haven't we?"

"I wasn't aware we had made such an agreement," he joked.

Pokkhket blushed, aware he was teasing.

Phakrach held her hand and laughed. "I'm just kidding. As your boyfriend, I'd gladly let you control my body and heart."

They smiled at each other, blissfully unaware that the trip would soon turn into a grand adventure.

Colonel Phakphum found no difficulty in arranging bail for Kongphop due to his high military rank and extensive network. He used his position to secure Kongphop's release.

As soon as Kongphop saw his sister, he rushed to embrace her, tears of joy streaming down both their faces.

After expressing his gratitude, they all headed to a military camp for a meeting. Soldiers lined up in formation to salute Phakphum, the highest-ranking officer present, before everyone proceeded inside.
