Author's POV:

"Ma'am, the work is done," the person said, their voice steady but cautious.

"Good job," the person on the other side replied coldly before cutting the call without another word.

Tanishk's POV:

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Sorry, Anjali, tumhe marna zaroori tha... Aryan ko mera hone ke liye," she said, her laughter echoing through the empty room.

She walked toward the mirror, her expression shifting dramatically. She wiped away her grin and let out a fake sob, staring at her reflection.

"Ab rone ki bhi toh practice karni padegi na," she muttered with a sinister smirk.

Tanishk tilted her head, admiring her performance. Her crocodile tears rolled down her cheeks, perfectly staged.

"Aryan ko lagna chahiye ki main kitni dukhi hoon... Bas thoda aur."

She rehearsed her sorrowful expression once more, then straightened up, her smile returning—sharp and wicked.

 "Ab Aryan sirf mera hoga..."

Meanwhile:

The Taneja family returned home with blank faces, carrying the heavy silence that had followed them from the bridge. Aryan was still unconscious, his lifeless form a reflection of the family's despair.

When they arrived, a somber stillness filled the house. After some time, Anjali's parents came rushing in. Her mother's face was streaked with dried tears, while her father's eyes were hollow, as if drained of all hope.

They moved toward Aahan, who sat on the couch, staring at the ground in silence.

"B-beta... b-bo-body m-mili?" her father asked, his voice trembling under the weight of his grief.Aahan lifted his gaze, seeing the broken expressions on their faces.

He swallowed hard, his voice cracking as he replied, "N-nahi, Papa... n-nahi mili."

Before they could process his words, the doorbell rang. Everyone turned toward the door, startled by the sudden interruption.

When they opened it, Tanishka stood there. Tears brimmed in her eyes, spilling over as she stepped inside.

" I-i am sorry about-anjali...ary-an ka-isa hai maine dek-hna chati hu use," she said, her voice breaking as she began her dramatic performance.

Aahan and Arushi exchanged a glance, both of them trying to hold themselves together. But as Tanishka's theatrics continued, Arushi clenched her fists, unable to hold back her anger.

Just as she was about to lash out, a piercing scream echoed from Aryan's room.

Everyone froze.

Without a second thought, they rushed upstairs.
