Dragon to the Throne

War Pt. 1

Natsu woke up to the feeling of a small tremor and the sound of footstps running up the stairs towards his room. He felt stange, an undescrible feeling that hit him hard in his chest. It got worse as Lucy entered the room; she barged in wearing only a towel to cover herself. Natsu realized that Lucy's presence alone was making him feel this way, he could imagine what the physical contact would be like.

"Natsu, are you okay?" Lucy walked over and sat down.

"Yeah, I'm fine. You need to put some clothes on or you'll get sick." Natsu motioned to her dress choice. Lucy looked down and gasped, hugging th towel around herself tighter.

"Don't look." Lucy blushed.

"How can I not? You're naked and I'm hot, it would be a sin for me not to look." Natsu smiled.

"Just don't, I'm sure you can control yourself." Lucy watched as Natsu got up and stretched. She heard the batting of wings just outside and walked to the window to inspect the noise. As she looked outside, the sky was filled with people.

"Natsu, what's happening?" Lucy looked to see Natsu dressed, he looked like he was ready for a battle. Lucy was stunned he had gotten dressed so fast in his state.

"There is gonna be a war Lucy and you're the reason." Lucy's head fell and she stared to the ground.

"I came across a room in the basement and I learned a lot about who I am. I didn't know this would happen." Lucy balled up her fist and brought them closer to her chest in hopes of comforting herself.

Then, the window broke prompting Lucy to look over. She was swept away through the window and pulled out.

"Aaahhh!" Lucy screamed in fear of falling.

"Fairy queen, you will belong to the Hebi Tribe. I, Cobra, will be your new husband." The purple haired man bellowed. Before he could make his way to Lucy, he was taken down by a ball of fire hurdled his way.

"You're gonna have to go through me before that happens, snake breathe." Natsu was already in the air with his wings extended the longest they could go.

"Making yourself look bigger only works on bears Dragon Prince. Snakes don't scare as easy as you think." Cobra laughed, easily regaining his balance after being knocked down.

"Erik, you need to make this quick, your father doesn't want us hanging up too long." Kinana, his lady in waiting said as she hovered next to him.

"Kinana, please don't interrupt me like that and don't call me Erik. My name is Cobra." Cobra was annoyed when Kinana butted in but was glad he had her by his side.

"Your name is Erik and I will be calling you Erik whether you like it or not. So man up and don't be a pussy about your name." Cobra knew that Kinana was serious whenever she told him to man up and stop being a pussy. He would have to make this snappy and with the Dragon on his back, it wouldn't be easy.

"Oi, Erik, let go of my woman." Lucy was shocked to hear that he called her his woman. Cobra was quick to throw Lucy to one of his guards.

"Natsu!! I don't like being up here if it's not with you, so hurry up and kick this guys butt and get me down." Lucy knew that she shouldn't be pushing Natsu but she wanted to get down badly and into some clothes.

"Don't worry babe, I'll get you down soon enough. It's time for me to work off this fever." Natsu was itching to get into since he had gone to see Lucy after he got into a fight with Gray, Urtear was angry and Erza was watching him closely.

"You've got another one on your back Dragon Prince." Natsu heard a chuckle come from behind him where he was blindsided by Rayvon, the Prince of the Water Tribe. Natsu plummeted to the ground, leaving a sizable crater in his wake. Natsu crawled out of the crater and brushed off the dust on him.

"Is that all you've got Rayvon?" Natsu smiled but felt the pain of being taken down and not ready to brace for the impact.

"Be careful Dragon, you will not like what I have to offer. Water triumphs fire every time, if you had learned anything about the kingdom you are to rule is that water will always makes the better adversary." Rayvon smiled, looking down on Natsu's ability.

"Rayvon, this is my prey; go find somewhere else to wet." Cobra made a poison cloud and spread it out across the area.

"Foolish child, water is the ultimate healing medium. How do you plan to harm a water user?" Rayvon was cynical and arrogant, Lucy couldn't imagine a man so stubborn beside Natsu but here he made his debut.

"What make you think that this is just normal poison?" Cobra smiled, Rayvon was struck with realization that it was for paralysis and not with killing intent.

Two fire wings made their way to Rayvon and Cobra, knocking them off guard and throwing off balance. Lucy squirmed and tried making her way out of the guards arms only to have her towel fall to the ground. She was left stark naked him the arms of the blushing soldier.

"Natsu!!" Natsu blushed as he saw Lucy lose her towel and hang nakedly in the air. He flapped his large wings and took off to the skies; he used his wings to shake the air, making the atmosphere shake and throwing everyone off bearing.

Lucy slipped out of the guards hands and made her way towards the ground quickly. Natsu swerved and made his way to her, trying to avoid poison and water bombs that were coming his way. Lucy looked to Natsu as he darted towards her and stretched out her arms waiting for Natsu.

He stretched his hands out, closer and closer to her; grabbing her just in time, missing the earth by just inches.

"Natsu, I'm so happy be in your arms right now. Never let me go, please, never let go." Natsu smiled, hearing the words made his heart jumped but it also lowered his guard.

"Lucy, watch out." Spears made their way into his back, Lucy watched as Natsu cough up blood and make a thud to ground, falling from her arms.

Tears welled up in her eyes and she was scared to lose someone close to her once again. She pulled out the spears and looked from the direction they came from, there was no one in sight but she could feel the presence of someone else nearby.

"Natsu, please wake up; don't leave me, I don't want to be alone again. I want to be happy with you and be a family with you. You turned my frown upside down, I have never been happier with anyone as I have been happy with you." Lucy leaned down and kissed him; the soft, golden glow of her lips made it's way across her body and clothed her in a gold and white attire.

Lucy stood up and decided it was time that she fight back. It was her turn to prove that she meant what she said. The fever was higher than ever and now with his injuries, Lucy wasn't sure that he would heal properly. Her hands glowed, releasing a golden powder. The powder extended and solidified, making a whip.

She stood below Natsu's assailant's, positioning herself to make the first strike. She lifted her hands and swung them in each direction towards Rayvon and Cobra, felling the additional presence of more creatures. How many people were after her? The questions would have to wait when she was done, her main priority would be to defeat the people in front of her.

"Elders, it's time that we move. The new queen is making her move and we must be there to aide in the ceremony for the Dragon and her." Rocoviche called to her other council members.

"Rocoviche, you are too excited. Calm down, we will be there only to dissipate the level of power that will be released. We cannot perform the sealing and mating rituals." Aaron smiled gently as he made his way slowly over to her.

"When was the last time we had such a meeting of raw power between two of the biggest power houses without sealing their power whatsoever?" Daemon spoke up from behind Mailyn and Artemis.

"Since the first Fairy Queen; we later had to create seals that controlled the power released." Agnes walked in with Raymond, arm-in-arm.

"You two are too old to be thinking of love." Angelo walked in behind them.

"Boo you Angelo, love is an amazing thing and it can shared at any age." Raymond spoke up.

"Let's go or when we get there, the mortal world will know of our existence." Angelo lead the group to the transfer portal, waiting to see what would happen on the other side.
