"George her face is turning blue!"

"You literally poisoned her!"

"Do you even know what you're doing?"

George, Fred, Ginny, Ron, Neville and Hermione stare at me, as I struggle to breathe. George looks at the box of chocolates in his hand nervously. Volunteering to try out one of their new products sounded like a brilliant idea at the time. It meant I could look away from my Charms essay whilst also spend time with George. At first it was all okay, but then my nose started to change colour, soon followed by my cheeks and the rest of my face. Neville was surprisingly the first to notice from across the room as he yelped and rushed towards us. The colour change was due to my airways slowly seizing up, something I didn't realise until I could barely breathe.

The commotion caused Ginny and Ron to look in who arguing about something Quidditch related, or maybe it was to do with a boy she was flirting with. Both twins froze as George stared at the half eaten chocolate with sheer terror, not giving me any confidence at all about my chances of survival.

Of course all the situation needed to make it better was Hermione Granger's disapproving glare at Fred.

"Here try this," Fred hands me another small chocolate and I take a bite tentatively. Immediately, my airways open up again and I can breathe normally. Coughing slightly, I give Neville a small grateful smile. His ability to spot an emergency from across the room was honestly amazing. Everyone looks relieved, but no one more so than George.

"Right, that's it. This has to stop now!" Hermione says sternly. I watch as Ron tries to edge away but she grabs his arm so that he cannot escape. Covering my mouth so that they don't see me laugh, I massage my throat slowly. It felt really strange to have everyone staring at me, however for once it wasn't because they were scared or heard some rumour about me. This time it was because I was the only one stupid enough to believe George when he said the products were ready for testing.

"You can't stop willing volunteers, we didn't even pay her!" Fred roars, clenching his fists tightly. Ginny gives me a strange look, but doesn't comment anything as she walks off to the dormitory, much to Ron's displeasure. Fred glares daggers at the Prefect, but she stands undeterred, folding her arms at him. George looks annoyed as well, but keeps glancing over at me as if he's making sure I don't faint.

"To be fair, I was the one who wanted to do it," I mutter quietly but the look I get from Hermione means I decide not to interfere again. George nods his head to the other corner of the common room and I smile grateful for the escape opportunity. We sit on a sofa by the fire and watch as Fred continues to argue with Hermione.

A couple of other N.E.W.T. students grumble at the noise in the common room and head out, probably going to the library. They give George a nod before heading out, but he's got his attention focused on me.

"Are you sure you're okay?" George asks, his eyes filled with concern.

"Actually," I start, my voice really quiet. "I think I'm feeling a bit faint," I continue, letting my eyes droop.

"Lils?!" George grabs my shoulders and gives them a small shake, his voice panicky.  I can't keep the façade up much longer and giggle. I open my eyes to see him scowl at me and shove me away.

"That's not funny," he grumbles and I continue laughing, making a mental note to remember his facial expression. Contrary to his opinion, it was extremely funny.

"You're not the only one who can pull pranks Weasley," I say smiling sweetly as he rolls his eyes.

"Yeah apparently not. Since when did you become a prankster anyways?" He leans back, letting his arm go around the back of the chair. If I leant back, I would literally be sitting in his arms. Tempting as that seems, I keep myself sitting forward. Boundaries have been set whether consciously or not, but at this moment in time, we're taking things slowly - after all, I don't have much practice with making friends, unless Severus counts.
