The nurses pull Marah off the ventilator that has been keeping her alive for the past 12 years. She is confused and just wants to go home.

Jason locks eyes with her. "Jason, what's going on?" Her eyes are big, panicked.

Jason rushes over to her and grabs her frail hand. "It's amazing your alive" he murmurs to her. "Am I some miracle baby?" she asks him. Jason laughs, "Something like that"

To Jason, she is just a stranger he's providing comfort for but to Marah, Jason is the love of her life.

Marah does not realize that the past 12 years of her life, have all been a dream. A delusion created in her head to keep her mind busy while her body healed.

She was only 5 when she went into her dream world so how could she make such a detailed world with the knowledge of so little?

Well, since Bruce and Jason have been in her room frequently, they feel it's okay to talk about Batman and Robin "business" in front of her because she's asleep, what's she gonna do?

But people in coma's have been rumored to hear everything that is going on around them. And for Marah, this rumor is true.

She picked up bits and pieces over the past 12 years of Batman and Robin "talk" and took the memories of Joker and Harley, putting it together to make a whole world for her mind.

"Jason, what am I doing here?" she asks again. He doesn't want to be the one to tell her about her accident.

"I'll go get you some water" he says and quickly leaves, avoiding the question. Marah huffs, throughly annoyed that all her questions are going unanswered.

Nancy puts an IV in her arm and sticky pads on her chest that will monitor her heart rate.

"Nurse" Marah says calmly. Nancy looks over at her and replies, "Yes Marah?"

"How long have I been here?" She asks tentatively and Nancy gulps. "12 years honey" she says with sympathy. Marah's jaw drops. "12 years?" she whispers to herself. "What happened to me?" She tries another question.

Before Nancy could answer, Bruce and Jason come into her room. Nancy takes that as her que to leave and she hurries out.

"Marah" Bruce whispers. Marah recognizes Bruce from when Harley took her shopping and they bumped into each other. "Bruce?" Marah asks, even more confused than before.

"How does she know our names?" Jason asks, exasperated. Marah gives him a confused look.

"You don't, remember me?" she says, hurt by his words.

Jason shakes his head slowly and walks over to her. He hands her the water he got her. Marah takes it and gulps down the whole glass, feeling the cool liquid replenish her throat.

"Easy" Jason says and takes the empty cup from her. "I want answers" she demands. Bruce nods, feeling like she deserves a few.

Bruce and Jason pull up a chair next to her bed. "Okay, ask away" Bruce says. Marah sighs, finally able to get answers.

"How did I get here?" she asks and Jason looks to Bruce. "Jason, please close the door" Jason nods and obliged, getting up and closing the door.

"Do you know a man named Bane?" Bruce started and Marah nodded her head, remembering a time when Joker invited him over to have a few drinks and talk when she was around 10.

Bruce nods and continues. "Well, he put you in a coma that lasted a total of 12 years.

Marah is confused, her and Bane really hit it off. They were laughing and joking about stupid stuff.

"Why would he do that?" Marah asks.

"It was an accident" replies Bruce.

"Wait, how do you know Bane?" he questions.

"Joker, he brought him over when I was around 10. We got a long great!" she answers with a small smile.

Bruce looks at Jason and Jason shrugs. "Marah" Bruce starts, "You were in a coma when you were 10" he says concerned.

Marah shakes her head. "No, I've never been in a coma..."

"You were attacked when you were only 5. You're 17 now"

Marah makes an 'o' with her mouth and all the pieces start to click together.

"So, the past 12 years of my life have been a lie?" she whispers.

"No, you've just been in a coma" Bruce says, confused by her words. "Marah, what have you been doing for the past 12 years of your life?"

"Living with the Joker, having fun! Living my life" she answers.

"That," Bruce sighs before speaking again. "That never happened. You have been lying in this bed for the past 12 years" he says.

"So you're saying...it was all a dream?" she asks and her lip trembles slightly.

"I'm afraid so" he answers her with pity written all over his face. Jason sits back quietly, pondering over how she knew his name when they've never met before.

"What did you dream about?" Jason finally speaks up.

"Well," Marah takes a moment to think about all the events that have happened. "I dreamt about living with Harley and Joker, being a happy normal family. He sent me to go kill Batman. I also dreamt about," She looks over at Jason. "you"

Jason rose his eyebrows. "What about me?" he questions.

"You're Robin" she says and her eyes glaze over, remembering the love she felt for him. She keeps that part to herself, it was all made up anyway.

Bruce and Jason's eyes go wide and they look at each other.

"How did you know that?" Bruce asks her firmly.

"I don't know! I just dreamt about it!" she defends.

"In your dream, what was the Joker like?" Bruce says, thinking that she can give him a few answers about Joker.

"He was, a good father. Normal if you ask me" she says and remembers that she put a bullet through his head.

"Is he dead?" Marah asks Bruce in a worried voice.

"No. Why would you ask that?" Bruce replies.

"In my dream, I killed him"
