As Monica walked towards the garden to meet with Lib and Kimberly she thought to herself that she never had a guy like her before well except for Zayn Leo in 7th grade but he was gross and she always kept her distance from him. She had only ever liked one guy herself James Frenzic in 10th grade because he was really cute but he was bad and always got into trouble so she stayed away from him. She didn't even know Terrance and she already was so rude to him and then he called her stunning. Stunning? That's never what she thought of herself so she was surprised to here it. As she got to the garden she could see Kimberly and Lib sitting there having a conversation and then Lib saw her and asked her where she had been but Monica just said she would tell her later. Then she sat on the bench next to Lib across from Kimberly and suddenly she was angry again. What the heck was wrong with her she wasn't on her period and she was getting really angry every 10 minutes. "Why did you leave me and not keep me, I was helpless baby and you put all the responsibly on AUNT MINNIE!" She didn't know why she yelled her aunts name but she could feel her face getting red because she was getting even more angry. "Calm down." Lib said trying to help but it didn't help it just made things worse. "No it's okay she has a right to be angry." That was the first time she heard Kimberly speak. "Your father was an abusive man, he would beat me for no reason and he drank to much so when I got pregnant with you be started screaming and punching walls because he knew he couldn't punch me but it got so bad that our neighbors called the police. He would reassure the cops that they were just crazy but they started passing often to check nothing was wrong. And then my water broke when I was at work so my friend Elise rushed me to the hospital, yes the Elise you know. And when I got there I called your aunt and told her I didn't want Richard..." That was his name her fathers name was Richard not what she expected. "To hurt you because you were a baby and I loved you so much. It was the hardest thing I ever did giving you up but when your father found out he beat me so bad that I ran out to go get the neighbors and when the cops came he was arrested." Tears were in Monica's eyes. "Why didn't you come and get me and bring me home?" She asked stifling a sob. "I was so traumatized and out of it that I thought I would be a bad mother." Kimberly looked at her trying not to cry but she did. "I'm so sorry Monica after I got better I started making money but by the time I was good enough to take you, you were 13 and I thought I had missed to much." "But now you've missed even more." Monica said. "I know and I'll make it up to you I have a trust fund in your name and in my wile I left you the house and all the land." Monica couldn't believe it she would have enough money to go to college and the whole house with all the beautiful trails and the horses. "Thank you." She said sucking in a breath. "Your welcome." She said smiling through tears. Then Monica stood up and hugged her. "I love you mom." She whispered. She had wanted to say that her whole life and now she could. "I love you too Monica." Then Elise walked up to them. "Sorry to bother you girls but it's now time for you guys to go to the post office."
When they got to the post office Lib went up to the desk and asked for box number 233 which was Kimberly's box. The man went back and came up with a small pile. When the got to the house they sat in the office and separated the bills and just magazines. As Lib looked at the magazines Monica payed the bills for the electric, plumbing and heating/cooling. "You okay?" Lib asked her. "Yah I'm good. Thank you for coming I really needed you here and you being here helped a lot." "Your welcome Mon." She responded smiling.
