Terrance wheeled Monica into the airport with Lib right beside her. "I can't believe I have to go now, I'm gonna miss you like crazy Mon but we can text everyday and you have to make sure you tell me everything that happens." "Ok I will." Monica responds. Lib gave Monica a quick hug and then Lib disappeared into Gate 53 headed back to her college. "How long have you guys been friends?" Terrance asked. Since we were nine, she moved to Michigan in 4th grade and she didn't know anybody so my friend Bella and I befriended her." "Oh whole Bella?" He asked as he helped Monica into his truck. "She had been my best friend from Kindergarden into fifth until she moved to Australia because of her dads job, but Lib and I stayed friends until now and that's never going to change." She said reassuringly. "Where are you from?" Monica asked Terrance. "I'm from Fountain Hills, Arizona." "Then how did you get here?" "Well Ms. Kim and my aunt who you know as Elise have been close friends forever and when Ms. Kim got sick about 3 months before you came I came to Vermont to help take care of her." He said. "But what about your family, don't you miss them?" She questioned. "My parents died when I was six so my aunt Elise has always been a mother figure to me, when I turned 18 she got a job out here and would come back and visit every summer but then she called me out here so we sold her house and are now living here." "How old are you?" "I'm 23, and you?" He asked. "20." She responded. They pulled into the big mansion and parked, Terrance got out and helped Monica down and into her wheel chair and as they walked up in silence Monica wondered how did Terrance's parents die and how weird that they both were raised my there aunts.

After getting into the house Elise had told them the good news saying how Kimberly would be out of the hospital in two days. Now two hours later Monica sat on her bed in her new downstairs room (because she couldn't take the stairs with a wheel chair) and looked out the window watching Terrance. She carefully pushed herself up and placed herself onto her wheel chair pushing the wheels towards the dining room. "Oh hi dear how are you feeling?" Elise greeted her. "I'm feeling fine thank you, She responded. "I was wondering if you could ask Roger to have the limo ready by 6:30 tonight?" She asked. "Of course dear but what for?" "I have a date!" She responded with a smile. Then she wheeled away. She slowly opened the front door (which was hard in a wheelchair) and headed out towards the garden. She realized Terrance wasn't there anymore so she started going towards the horses and there he was grooming them quietly. As she got closer she saw he was grooming Edmond and talking to him. "Do you think I should ask her on a date?" He asked in a baby voice. "Well I do." He remarked even though obviously Edmond didn't answer. "Well that's great because I was going to ask if you wanted to go out tonight." She interrupted shocking Terrance making him drop the brush he was using to groom Edmond. "Oh uh, you heard that." He stuttered. "Nope." She responded with the biggest grin." "Meet me at the front door at 6:25 and dress nice, even though I don't mind what your wearing now." She said winking and wheeling away.

At six o'clock Monica goes into her closet to look for a dress finding a red velvet strapless. She then puts a light shade of glitter eye shadow and black eyeliner on looking at herself and seeing how it made her blue eyes sparkle. She finishes up around 6:30 when she hears a knock on the door. "Come in." She says. Standing there in khaki pants and a black button up is Terrance. He stares at her before saying anything. "You look gorgeous." He says. "Thank you." She responds blushing. He slowly wheels her outside and into the limo where Roger is waiting. As they head out Roger explains that their dinner is payed for by Ms. Kimberly. Shocked Terrance quickly says he could pay for it but Roger nudges it off.

At the restaurant Terrance and Monica talk about life and afterwards Terrance wheels her off to the lake he carefully lifts her up and places her on a blanket with candles all around it. "How did you get this all done you were with me for the past hour and thirty minutes?" She asked stunned. "I asked Roger to do it while we were at the restaurant, when you used to live upstairs I could see you from the garden looking out at the lake from your balcony so I assumed you liked it." "I do this is beautiful thank you." Slowly he leans in and she does to, it was the best kiss Monica had ever had he lightly brushed his fingers through her hair and held her up with the other hand, she had her hands around his neck never wanting to let go. Having to take a breath he quickly said, "A beautiful date for a even more beautiful girl."

That night Monica would have a lot to text Lib!
