"That was amazing!" Nathan shouted as they were shown the door with a glaring face. The group slowly walked towards the tube station as the sun had long since set.
"Oh my god Isaiah! That bit where you played the bass backwards, that was hilarious!" Devon laughed as he remembered the moment.
"I never thought it could feel this good to be myself." Nathan stood there for a moment, realising it. James looked at him with a small smile.
"That's all you have to do." He said softly, looking deep into his eyes. Nathan's lips parted and he looked at James for a moment. The five of them stood on the dark street, the only light coming from the streetlights further up. Nathan smiled back at James. Meaning it with all his heart.
"Oh and that I Wanna F You shit! You talking about it being feminist!" Nathan said then, Devon looked at Nathan seriously.
"I meant it." Nathan grinned.
"Yeah, sure." He said with a sarcastic laugh in his voice.
"No, I'm serious. I think it's important for a woman to come during sex." All the band members remained silent.
"I mean, you do too, right?!" Isaiah nodded in agreement and Lynx did the same.
"Of course, I think making love should be equally enjoyable for both. That they can enjoy it together, even though it feels so different for each of them." The Rock Starz remained silent. Lynx looked at James and Nathan with a sidelong glance.
"Right?" The two nodded slowly. Lynx looked back to the front, he wanted to find out in his own way if what Faye told him was true.
"Lynx, why on earth do you call it making love, how old are you? Fifty?" Devon then asked disapprovingly.
"Because it's about love. I think you should only do something like that with someone you love, so you don't regret it." He answered softly. Nathan was silent, thinking back at his own sex history. He looked at James through the corner of his eye.
"I mean, it doesn't have to be all about love, you can have sex with someone purely for your physical needs." Devon said with a small grin on his face, imagining things, probably. Lynx sighed.
"That's not my thing. I want to have a strong connection with someone, I want our auras to blend together the way our bodies would, our minds to blur together along with our scents and tastes." Isaiah was surprised at what Lynx was saying.
"Is this your way of saying you're still a virgin Lynx?" Devon asked softly.
"I'm not a virgin." Lynx said immediately.
"Devon is." Nathan said softly, a laugh in his voice. Devon glared at Nathan.
"Wow." Isaiah said dryly, smiling as he lit a cigarette.
"Well at least I've got my priorities figured out. You don't even know who you are anymore." Nathan decided not to respond to Devon's attack right away. He waited a moment. Lynx could feel the tension in the group and Isaiah also looked at the two tensely.
"That's not true Devon. I know who I am." He said softly, he grinned and he looked at Devon
"I'm a Rock Star!" Devon grinned back slowly.
"And we fucking killed it there! Our album will be released soon and then we'll go on tour! And before you know it Devon, you've popped your cherry, don't worry." Devon started laughing and he put his arm around Nathan.
"I sure hope so. It shouldn't go around that the famous drummer of Rock Starz is a virgin." The group laughed with relief and they arrived at the tube where they got in. Nathan sat next to James and Isaiah, Devon and Lynx sat opposite them. A little further away sat an older couple who watched the boys sit down.
"Aren't those the boys from tonight's show Margot?" the older man asked his wife. The woman narrowed her eyes and leaned forward towards the boys. Nathan leaned away uncomfortably and Lynx smiled politely.
"Fuck me Terry, It's them!" Nathan looked at the two in shock.
"You're that new band, from After Hours, we were in the audience." Terry said and Nathan's gaze became surprised.
"Oh no." Isaiah said softly, expecting a lot of misery to come over him now.
"We left immediately after your performance because after your interview we started to see Bill in a very different light." The woman said convincingly while she nodded with wide eyes. Nathan frowned at the woman while James looked on with interest.
"We completely agreed with you! I think it's great that you guys bring up these kinds of things! We'll definitely listen when your album comes out." Isaiah nodded, pleasantly surprised.
"You guys heard it, we already have two fans." The woman laughed loudly and grabbed her husband's arm tightly.
"Well, it was a pleasure. Me and Terry have to get off here, unfortunately. Goodbye." The couple stood up and the subway doors opened and the two walked out. There was silence until the doors closed again.
"That wasn't the age category I was aiming for." Nathan muttered and the band laughed.

The group stayed the night at Isaiah's apartment and where Devon was temporarily sleeping. They sat there laughing watching the tape of the live show on the TV.
James stood up. "I'm going to get something to drink." Lynx looked up when he heard James's words. He also stood up and followed him.
"James." Lynx said softly. The two entered the kitchen and Lynx closed the door behind him. James looked at Lynx in surprise.
"What's wrong?" He asked as he opened the fridge and took out a bottle of beer.
"Can I talk to you about something?" He asked softly and a little worried. James put his bottle down and leaned against the counter.
"Yes, of course." Lynx bit his lip and thought about how best to word this. He cleared his throat and pulled away from the door.
"What happened between you and Nathan?" There was a brief silence. "At the party, at the lake house." James looked at Lynx in shock. He hadn't expected this question. He thought about it.
"What do you mean?" Lynx looked at James.
"Nathan went upstairs to check on you. And ever since he came back down the next morning, he's been acting strange." James remained silent again and considered telling the truth.
"He was wasted. He mumbled something vague about me not being there and then fell asleep in my bed." Lynx looked at James with wide eyes.
"Are you sure?" James opened his mouth but no word came out. He closed it again, grabbed his beer from the counter and nodded. He walked towards the door where Lynx was standing.
"Can I go, Lynx?" Lynx stared at the ground and considered a sentence in his head.
"Lynx?" James asked irritated.
"I know what happened." He said suddenly, James looked at Lynx in shock.
"What?" He took a step back.
"Faye was looking for me and walked past your bedroom. She heard you two, I know what happened." Lynx said summarising.
"Well, whatever she heard. It's probably a misunderstanding.' Lynx had already crossed a lot of boundaries of his own to have this conversation with James, but he was strangely frustrated that James wouldn't just tell him the truth.
"Just tell the bloody truth James." Lynx was shocked by his own language but then glared at James semi-angry to hopefully make it seem threatening.
"Why are you hiding it from me? I'm not homophobic, and I won't tell the band anything! Please I just have to share this with someone, it's such a burden to know, but not fully know!" Lynx took a deep breath after his story and he looked at James hopelessly now.
"Nathan doesn't even want to believe it himself, so why should I tell someone else?" Lynx looked at James sadly when he heard his soft tone.
"Do you believe it happened?" James remained silent and leaned back a little.
"I was there, I know what happened. I know it happened. And I'm sure Nathan remembers it too, but he says he doesn't because he was drunk." Lynx nodded.
"I think Nathan wasn't ready to explore that part of himself at that point. It must have been the combination of the drink and his relief that he was doing it. It's taken Nathan a long time to let himself go like that, like at the party. He was relieved that the album was done and he was drunk, so when he saw you..." James stared at the ground.
"Well, before we know, he'll be famous and his beautiful, low-key self. In that case, I can forget about him." Lynx looked up.
"So you're saying you're still interested in him?" James laughed as he thought of Nathan.
"Yes," he replied with a bright smile, but it slid off his face as soon as he reminded himself that it couldn't be done. "But I can forget about that."
