have it all wrong

THIRD PERSON

"so y/n? what happened to that deal?" tsukishima brought up, making y/n's face turn red.

"what deal? hahaha..." she laughs off, turning her head to the side. why does he still still remember that? y/n thought to herself.

tsukishima raises his eyebrow at y/n, turning back to catch yamaguchi's eyes. "she doesn't remember." he says, walking forward with hid hesd looking back.

the girl spun her head around, seeing her best friend put on a mischievous face. "you don't remember?" he starts, earning a look from yachi. "remember what?" she stares at her boyfriend for an answer.

"remember that she's a loser and she has to buy us all boba!" yamaguchi announced as loud as possible, catching the attention of hinata and kageyama who were walking behind them.

"we're gonna get free boba?" hinata jumped, way more excited that his counterpart, kageyama, aka your boyfriend. "can you please stop? it's annoying." kageyama grunted at hinata, who didn't seem to hear him.

thinking about how empty her wallet was, the broke girl tried to shut everyone up, "no free boba! the bet was supposed to be a joke." she sulked.

sadly, no pity was felt for the rest of them, "a bet's a bet." yachi grins, and y/n makes sure to turn behind and scowl at her before storming away.

"is that supposed to be scary?" yamaguchi grimaced, making tsukishima slap his knee and cackle as he watched you prance away.

"misses, the store is this way!" tsukishima teases, pointing to the store she had just passed.

OIKAWA'S POV

"where is she?"

that day that him and that angry girl met, he realised they agreed to be partners in crime, but he soon realised that he hadn't even gotten her number.

he didn't know why he had been that dumb, but right now he was trying to find her.

however, he didn't see a trace of her.

and so now, he was at sendai street, half trying to find reina and half cause he was bored.

as he strolled around the serene street, he looked down to see the barey pink petals that fell from the trees. it was may, and so the colour of the leaves were faded.

all of a sudden, he hears his name is a high pitched voice. when he tilts his head up, he has to look back down to catch a girl with a box of chocolates in her hands.

"hi oikawa!!!" she sqeualed, and oikawa pur on a big smile to greet her. "hi!" he waved his hand, pointing to the elephant in the room, "who is that for?"

the girl blushed and handed it over to him, thrning her flushed face away, "y-you. i hope you like it! you're really handsome."

the brunette accepted it with wide arms, "i love it! and you're really pretty, you know that?" he flirted.

"thank you! i'll buy you an even bigger present next time!" she grinned, running over to her friends who were by a tree. when she did, they all screamed and gazed at oikawa who smiled widely and walked away.

once he turned a corner, his smile dropped, "yikes." he winced. the girl looked like a freshman, and he was, well, a graduate.

shrugging it off, he undid the big red ribbon on the box and threw a few heart tempered choclates into his mouth.

continuing to stroll, a loud voice made him stop in his tracks, even halting the movement of his jaw.

that group of those karasuno people on the opposite path of them. immediately, oikawa hid behind the nearest tree, inspecting that it was the same faces he would always watch.

that girl, with whatever name, and the rest of them that were on team. they were all coming out of a bubble tea shop, and she was handing them their drinks, not looking too happy.

oikawa watched intently as she passed each one out, but for some reason, he felt differently.

as the girl gave out each of their drinks, she had the same bleak look on her face. but, kageyama and her kageyama's brief interaction was nothing special.

after it all, everyone continued walking around. she would talk to tsukishima, that blondie would talk to her boyfriend, and shorty over there would talk to mr king.

relaying it in his head, the only time oikawa had seen her was with kageyama, that one time. maybe it didn't mean anything.

maybe all they were in fact, friends.

"i'm reading too much into this." he murmurred as he watched them all walk away, and then so did he.

can we talk about how i started lowkey when i was 14 and now i'm 18 and i'm now writing a sequel for it😭 literally so insane cuz i started off as a joke LMAO but now i rlly love writing
